I have tried three different toothpaste tablets and so far Bite is the winner. Although they all cleaned my teeth well, Bite scored tops for both foaming and taste. I will be using from now on to continue my goal of living without plastic!

I was very happy with the sustainable packaging from these Grove products and have been using them. I'm especially happy with the shampoo and conditioner bars, they smell so good and make my hair so soft and shiny! The tissues and toilet paper are very soft and I feel better about the fact that they're tree free! All in all a very smart and worthy purchase.

The IPCC Climate Change Report 2021 is so alarming. I truly hope that a global reduction of carbon emissions will result. Although I was surprised that the media coverage did not seem to tackle the plastic consumption issue very much. I'm glad I had already decided to switch to plastic free products a while ago! My latest purchase pictured here came from Grove Collaborative and the packaging and products are all sustainable.

I was surprised to find these trash bags in the grocery store! I'm sure there are brands that are better for the environment, and I will try those in the future, but for the convenience and lower cost, I decided to compromise.

I bought this bamboo toilet paper because bamboo is more eco-friendly than paper, and I could hardly tell any difference when using it. However, it arrived in a plastic wrapper and it does not indicate anywhere that the wrapper is biodegradable, so I won't be replacing this purchase. I'll keep looking though!

These Bamboo Reusable Paper Towels really are Reusable! I love them! I use them just the same as regular paper towels, rinse them out with a little soap, let them air dry and they're perfect to use again.

No more plastic sandwich or snack bags! Since I moved into my new place recently, these Cookfun reusable silicone bags will be plenty for just me. They seal up easily and are airtight. They are also very easy to wash!

In my quest to avoid buying products with plastic, I found this body lotion by Ethique. There were a few easy steps to turn the bar into lotion and it turned out great! I will post more pics of the process next.

My last post was on the Unpaste tabs, but I also have switched to Bamboo toothbrushes! It took a little getting used to the Woody taste at first, but after a few days, I don't notice it anymore. Till next time, stay natural!

I'm announcing my decision to work toward ending plastic product purchases. I bought these Unpaste toothtabs and have been using them for a couple weeks now. My teeth feel as clean as when I used paste from a plastic tube! Stay tuned, as I will be sharing this journey here
