Regina Lograsso Photography I am a portrait photographer, lover of coffee & all things vintage. Actually had one in my school, best class ever. Does that tell my age???

I have been drawn to photography since I was in high school, yes back when we developed film in a dark room. Shhhhhh....

After years of "playing" with the camera, I decided to go back to school to actually learn how the camera works. There's more to it than pointing and shooting! I launched my photography business back in 2014 and it was still mostly a hobby up until a few years ago when business

picked up tremendously and now it's a full time job. But I have another full time job as well, I own and I am the head coach at CrossFit Unwritten in Salem. Yes, I like to stay busy! I specialize in maternity, newborns, children and families...sorry folks, I do not do weddings! I did a few early on and decided that was not for me. I just opened up a studio in Buchanan, Va this July and I am LOVING it! So much more room than my basement studio and oh so much natural light!

How is 2024 gone already??

As always I want to send out a HUGE thank you to all of my 2024 clients, the year was so busy and I LOVED it all. I relocated to downtown Roanoke this past year and it has been the best move EVER!

I am always amazed when I add up my sessions for the year, when I say it was a busy year, I mean it was a BUSY YEAR!

I had 172 session in 2024.....what?? CRAZY! Newborns, maternity, families and so many kiddos... I love getting to capture it ALL!

Again - THANK YOU for choosing me to capture your sweet memories! Clients like you all make my dream of becoming a successful small business owner a reality. I appreciate you all allowing me be a part of your families!

There are a lot of fun things in the works for 2025 - stay tuned over the next week for some fun announcements! I will be shifting my focus to more in-studio sessions and will only be doing outdoor sessions twice a year for limited session (spring & fall).

Please share with any friends expecting! I have several new maternity gowns for my client closet that I need to photograph, this is a great opportunity ❤

PLEASE NOTE:
1. Looking for models between 31-34 weeks.
2. Must be comfortable with fitted clothing, bodysuits, etc.
3. Must sign a model release so that images can be used for advertising purposes.
4. Must be available weekday mornings.
5. Session will be scheduled during the first two weeks of January.
6. Hair & Make up provided (light makeup - nothing crazy!)

Please email me a selfie and your due date to [email protected]. Selfie is for wardrobe sizing purposes!

I have definitely changed what number I typically am over the years. I don't have kiddos at home anymore so I am more organized now than I used to be. I would say I am a 1 & 2 this year. I have one or two things left to get but I have been wrapping as I go so I am all caught up there. I used to be the mom that wrapped everything Christmas Eve because I was so behind.....I know I wasn't alone in doing that! 🤣

I hear it all the time. “I love everything about the photo ….except for me.”


You see the dark circle under your eyes.
You see the last 10 pounds of baby weight you’ve been meaning to lose.
You see the clothes you’ve been meaning to replace.
You see your hair piled on top of your head because you haven’t had a haircut in months.

But here’s a little secret. That’s not what your kids see.

They see the mom who gets them back to sleep night after night.
They see the mom who snuggles in bed with them when they have bad dreams.
They see familiar clothes that remind them of you.
They see the hair they play with when they can’t fall asleep.
They see you, Mom, and all your glory.

I know it’s tempting to be the person behind the camera. (Hello, I’m a photographer!) But you have to be in front of it too. There are so many reasons why. When you look back at this time in your life, you’ll want to remember what you look like. (Trust me you’ll think you look amazing. Remember when you thought you were fat in high school?)

When your kids look at pictures from this time in their lives, they’ll want to see you. But on top of that, your kids are watching you. If you’re hiding from the camera, they’ll wonder why and maybe even think they should hide to.

It’s time for us all to step in front of the camera and own our look. (Without filters!)
