Hey! I’m Jordan & im so thrilled to have you following along!

I sent Taylor the cutest write up of a hair salon owners bio and I thought we should totally do that! No better time like the present!

I am a so called “entrepreneur”. I’ll tell ya that came as big of a surprise to me than anyone that knew me. I own three businesses that all have one very large thing in common. I love to make people feel beautiful. Oh and we sell dresses. Lots and lots of dresses.

I fell in love with bridal about 18 years ago when I helped my very first bride say yes to the dress. I knew then and there. This is what I want to do & the rest is history.

I’m the mom of 2 little girls, Reilly & Leighton and married to my cooking partner, traveling partner and ultimately my best friend, Rob, or as my staff call him “Robby Flay”.

I believe all things will be solved over good Vino & Cheese.

I am THE most blessed Business Owner on the planet. Like I’m serious. It doesn’t get better than my crew.

I’m a enneagram 3 which for those of you that don’t know, I am a workaholic and if I relax for more than 3 minutes I feel like I have failed. So needless to say I’m horrible to “vacay” with.

I’m thrilled to be where I am and excited for the future. Oh and I also haven’t worked a day in the past 18 years. Living the dang bridal & prom dress dream!

It’s solely about the women who wear them & empowering them to feel beautiful and confident on one of the most special days of their lives! 🥂 Cheers to 70 more years of making the magic happen

👰‍♀️ HOW TO: Pose in Your Wedding Dress The Bride’s age old question of, “What do I do with my hands?!” can now be a thing of the past! Here is a step-by-step guide on how to pose in your wedding gown, including foot placement, hand placement, and tips and tricks along the way 1. First things, first- Place one foot directly in front of the other. Point the toe of your leading foot. This immediately will elongate your body by creating an hourglass effect, and really accentuating your natural waistline and curves. 2. next play around with different hand placements. Gracefully have them hanging down by your sides, one or both hands on your hips, or our favorite hand placement, “hold the pea” - delicately interlace your fingers together in line with your natural waistline (or right in front of your belly button) 🔥 HOT TIP- choose a hand placement that comes most naturally to you. If you are uncomfortable posing, you will appear uncomfortable in photographs. 3. To show off the back, make sure your train is beautifully fluffed behind you. If you have any unique or intricate back details, make sure your hair is pulled off to one side to ensure that those details can be seen. Look over one shoulder and be sure to keep your chin lifted to make sure that your neck stays elongated. 4. Lastly, to get that ICONIC statuesque bridal portrait pose, spin from your backwards facing position to face your photographer. This will create the beautiful draping affect in your train with minimal effort and without having to re-fluff your train & repeat the aforementioned hand placements! The most important tip to remember is that practice truly does make perfect! Practice these poses when you say yes to the dress, during alterations, or if you are taking bridal portraits prior to the wedding, this is a great time to practice poses! 🥂

Studio I Do Bridals Roanoke is located in the Historic District of Downtown Roanoke. The Studio resides in the former Shenandoah Hotel. Upon entering the Studio, you will find vaulted ceilings, driftwood flooring, historic architectural molding, crystal chandeliers and 20-foot windows for the perfect amount of natural light. The “Industrial Glam” theme was decided to emphasize the beauty of this historic location as well as to bring a glamorous but inviting feel for brides and their guests. The layout of the Studio was inspired to give a “showroom” feel. Allowing the gowns to be highlighted and showcased but also giving each Bride and her entourage an intimate Experience in their very own Bridal Suite.
