As you continue the wedding planning process, two major guides will help you along your way. Both your wedding planner and venue coordinator will help you navigate the planning process of pulling off the wedding of the century.

But while their titles may sound similar, it's important not to get the two mixed up and better understand that while their roles can have overlapping ideas, they are very separate entities.

🥂The venue coordinator deals with all aspects of the venue. They work directly with the venue to ensure the staff and all venue premises are ready for you during your big event. It is vital you are clear on what their role is. They may have multiple events to be managing at once and thus may not have time to devote themselves to just your wedding. While you may have regular interactions with your venue coordinator, most of your planning and strategizing will coincide with your wedding planner.

The venue is just one small portion of the wedding process, so your wedding planner is responsible for overseeing and helping you manage ALL aspects of your wedding day. They are the ones making sure all the fine details are perfected.
