Tuesday, after our sweet treat and coffee we headed over to KEDT - South Texas Public Broadcasting for a meeting and were welcomed to a tour of the facility. We were kids in a candy store amazed at what the team at does, like us they’re a small but mighty team! Thank you for inviting us into your beautiful studios and we cannot wait to build our friendship with you all!

Get ready to get your hands dirty and have some Earth Day FUN, Nueces County friends! 🎉

Guess what?! On Tuesday, April 22nd, it's Earth Day, and we're having a super special event just for YOU at the fairgrounds! It's called "Tiny Hands, Earth Day Blooms"! Click to Register: https://bit.ly/3FVqgcJ

We're going to be planting beautiful flowers in the big round flower bed around the Plow Monument! 🌸🌼🌷 You can be a super plant hero and help make our fairgrounds even more colorful and pretty! We'll be there bright and early to enjoy nature's beauty together. We'll start our day with yummy little snacks and drinks while our super awesome General Manager, Arcilia Padron, reads us a story about how we can all be kind to our planet! 🌎

A HUGE thank you to our awesome friends at Gill Garden Center + Landscape Co. and Turner's Gardenland for their donation of flowers! You guys are the best!

But the fun doesn't stop there! After our FREE flower planting, guess where we're going next? Our super cool neighbors at the Keach Family Library - Nueces County Public Libraries! They have a whole day of amazing things planned!

We can zoom on over to the Keach Family Library at 11 am for Storytime with a real-life hero, Nueces County Commissioner Pct 3. John Marez! And guess what else? You get to make a super cool craft afterward! 🎨

But wait, there's MORE! Later in the day at the Keach Family Library, you can join in on a Project Learning Tree at 4 pm and learn all about nature! And if you're a STEM lover, get ready for STEM: Sphero Indi at 4:30 pm!

It's going to be a super fun-filled Earth Day right here in Robstown, Texas, all down Terry Shamsie Blvd! We can't wait to see your smiling faces and your tiny hands helping our Earth bloom! 🌱 See you there! 😄
