If inflation has been so high since Covid, why do I still only get 10 cents off my Caribou Coffee when I answer the trivia Q correctly? 10 cents 20 yrs ago should be at least a quarter now 😆 It’s been 10 cents off for 20 years plus now I tip 50 cents.🙄

Met a group of Mayo residents at my Neuro Hospitality House trivia fundraiser last week. This is my favorite wrong answer to the question about W***y Mays’ nickname. My clue was that it’s three words each with three letters.

I’m meeting one of those residents tonight to talk about buying a house. Volunteering your time and talents really does pay off. And fills your soul.

Trivia is absolutely my social outlet in so many ways. I don’t host nearly as many trivia events in the summer…so please reach out as I need more social engagements to attend!

I don’t post much on this site outside of posting each trivia night event link. But I wanted to remind everyone I’m available to host trivia for special events. I’ve had two this week!

Tuesday night’s event was for my sister’s work (in Denver) and Thursday night was for the Neuro Hospitality House (Rochester). My sister’s included questions about her workplace and more energy related topics (she works in solar energy).

Thursday’s included more medical related questions…but don’t worry, many are pop culture infused so all the non-medical people in the room could also stay engaged.

So, remember I can personalize any event with my questions - my favorite are grooms dinners where I ask questions about the bride and groom (and add in their own pictures).

Anyone remember the Mayo Clinic shout out in 1980’s ‘Airplane!?’ This was the opening question in the Mayo Clinic Category from last night’s fundraiser trivia event benefiting the Neuro Hospitality House in Rochester.

The Palaminos (regular Forager team) placed second in trivia while visiting New York City! They sent me this picture.

I’m the trivia entertainment tonight for MOLN - a nurses leadership conference being held at the Hilton my family lived at summer 2020. Third floor in a huge room with a great view.

Could have 200 people participating so I’ve got two helpers. But I’m most excited for the clicker I tested out yesterday. Will allow me to walk around as I can advance slides without touching my laptop. Except in this room I’m still tethered for adjusting my sound, which I adjust frequently.

My next technology purchase may need to be a wireless USB clicker. And some way to gather teams’ scores better. Still trying to figure that one out. But hey, it’s fun to employ helpers!

Hope to have pictures of this conference after tonight. I think nurses tend to party it up, yes?

Final trivia of the season at The Pondy Restaurant & Bar was a big success! Terry Lee making people inappropriate balloon animals, lots of generous donations by area businesses and individuals to use as prizes. Fun night! Hope to see you all this summer.
