We are already obsessed 🫶 with this collaboration from Oak Park Brewing Co and our friend & favorite guest speaker Celeste Beatty of Harlem Brew South

THE FIRST ☝️Female African American to OWN a brewery🍺 in the USA🇺🇸

On this National Equal Pay Day, we are reminded that “[w]omen earn an average of 16% less📉 than men. For every dollar💵 earned by men, women earned 84 cents.”🤯

In April 1933, she helped make headlines by announcing the return of beer 📰 & that would serve it in the White House again! 🍾🎉🍻

This groundbreaking News ELEVATED the professional standing of newspaperwomen, as every 🗞️newspaper had to use woman's article on the BIG announcement. 📣

women started a tradition of proposing 💍on February 29th🇮🇪

Legend 📖has it that St. Brigid of Kildare, the awesome patron and mother saint of Ireland, once chatted 💬 with the legendary 🍀St. Patrick himself.

She wanted to address 🗣️a serious issue - some gentlemen were taking ages🕰️ to pop 💍the question to their lovely 👯‍♀️ladies! And nobody🚫 wanted to be without a beau💕 during lent.

So Brigid asked 🍀St. Patrick for the church’s blessing🙌 to allow women to propose instead. 💪

Now, 🍀St. Patrick wasn’t keen at first. But Brigid wasn’t one to give up easily💪. She negotiated and struck a deal with old St. Pat.🤝

Drumroll 🥁, please... women could propose, once every FOUR years🗓️!✨

And that’s how we ended up with the quirky tradition of women proposing 💍on February 29th🇮🇪, the extra day in a leap year📆.

NYS Cannabis Festival👉👉👉👉👉👉Who will we team up with in 2024?👈👈👈👈👈👈👈Drink Like A Girl was featured for the craft beer education in the first inaugural NYS Cannabis Festival in Broome county in June. Then Lake Fest 🌊took summer by storm⚡️, offering a paradise of craft beer delights. With an all-star lineup of breweries and 80% women owned, led or brewer. It was the ultimate Lake Fest no extravaganza💪!DLG then created some Bedford Falls’ magic ❄️at It's a Wonderful Tasting.
