Hope everyone is having a great summer. Figured we would give an update on our schedule for next season. As of now we dont have any tournaments scheduled. I had submitted dates in March to the Eagles for this upcoming season but the majority of the dates were already booked. We are currently looking for other options and once we figure something out will update everyone again.
Thanks
David, Jamie and Josh Collins

Last event of the season. 52 scotch doubles teams. It was a fun tournament. I really enjoyed watching good matches. Best part was putting my partner in some tough spots, sorry Jamie I owe you a couple of Captain/Dr Peppers. Congrats to all the winners.
So many people to thank for everything they do to help us put on these event for you. Before I get started with that long list.
Jamie and I would like to thank Dusty Lovelace for everything he has done to make 507Billiards what it is today. Dusty decided that he is going to slow down a bit, step away from organizing the tournaments and just enjoy playing in them. We all know that these tournaments take a lot of time to set up and run. We usually drop off the tables Thursday night and have the tournament room ready to go Friday afternoon. We are there Friday night, back early on Saturday then back again on Sunday to finish matches or to pick up the tables. He did say he will be at the tournaments so maybe we can twist his arm or buy him a couple of michelob ultras to do some reffing and a calcutta here and there. If you see him around thank him for what he has done to make pool a little bit better in our area.
Thank you to Mickey Rowland (Excel Homes), Doug Rowland (Doug's Cues), Jeremiah and Roxanne Prigge (ERO Game Gear), Josh Collins, Ava Lovelace, Jesse Wiesner, Charlie Arendts, Kevin Hanson, Onna Karau and the rest of the Eagles staff. We appreciate your help from sponsoring, donating raffle cues, displaying and selling merchandise and helping with miscellaneous tasks. The Eagles Club for providing the venue for these tournaments. We are very grateful.
If you have any suggestions on formats or anything else, feel free to reach out.
Will work on the schedule for next season and keep everyone posted here.
See you at the Jeff Knies 3 person tournament April 28th-30th. If you haven't signed up for it contact Jeff Knies. Guaranteed to have a good time.
Thanks again for a great season.

Friday 9 Ball and Saturday 8 Ball tournament took a little longer then expected. We realize some matches might get into safety battles. We eventually had to put some matches on a shot clock both nights. We prefer not to do this, but it was necessary in order to catch up due to lengthy matches.
Thank you to the Eagles staff for waiting for us to finish both nights. It was appreciated by us and the players.
For future events. We will only have 2 Friday night Challenge matches at 6pm. The Friday 9 Ball tournament will be limited to 16 players. We do have 1 challenge match spot available March 3rd and 2 spots available March 31st. Let me know if you are interested in challenging someone.
The next event will be March 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Will work on the 507 Billiards/Excel Homes points race standings and post the results soon.

We started setting up tables Friday night around 945pm and were done by midnight. The next day we had our biggest attendance so far other than the Dan Ganz Memorial (92 players). 90 players participated in 2 divisions and finished around 1230 on Saturday and started again Sunday 9am. 3 players in the lower division and 4 players in the upper division had to return to finish the tournament.
We tried something different with the upper division. We used the R5 Fargo hot race and received good feedback. We will continue to use this for future events.
Thank you to Doug Rowland (Doug's Cues) for donating portion of the cue raffle money to the tournament fund. If you need any cue work before MOMA reach out him. Thank you to Bart Winestorfer (help set up tables), Rick Pagel and Doug Rowland (collecting calcutta money) and last but not least the DOUBLE CHAMP MASTER Charlie Arendts for running the upper calcutta. We appreciate the help.
Shout out to the youth players that participated. 2 of them ended up taking home a little bit of spending money.
The next event will have Friday night challenge matches and the 9 ball tournament. 8 Ball singles for the next event has to be a 1 day event since the Eagles will be closed on Sunday Feb 5th. More details to come on that. Sign up events will be made week of January 23rd.
We hope everyone had a great time. See you in February.
