Hey there, I’m Eliza ✨

Owner & Lead Planner of Eliza Jane Events, serving couples in NY & NC (and beyond!). I’m the calm in the storm when wedding stress arises, and I thrive on making every wedding unique and perfectly designed for each couple.

My journey started with fundraising events and concert operations, but I found my true passion in wedding planning. I’m all about luxury events where no detail is left untouched—from ceremony chair spacers to industrial steamers, I’ve got you covered!

When I’m not orchestrating dream weddings, you’ll find me enjoying live music, running marathons (two down, number three is on the way!), paddleboarding on the water, and spending time with my golden retriever, Noah. I’m also a frequent traveler to Ireland—my favorite place to visit. With two degrees in healthcare administration, I stay connected to my roots by teaching as an adjunct lecturer at SUNY Brockport.

Previously Abbye was the Director of Event Sales and Media Relations for the Inn on Broadway, an Event Sales Manager at I-Square LLC, and most recently the Marketing and Communication Manager at Bene-Care Inc.

Abbye brings a wealth of experience and a passion for creating unforgettable moments. Inspired by her father’s love for a good party, bringing people together, and sharing moments that will live on in memory, Abbye’s journey in event planning began at a young age and has driven her career ever since.

With a BA in Communication, Media & Journalism from SUNY College at Geneseo, Abbye has honed her skills in meticulous planning, creative problem-solving, and effective communication. Her extensive hands-on experience ensures that every detail is thoughtfully curated and each event is flawlessly executed.

Abbye is committed to making every occasion special. She believes in being a guiding light throughout the planning process, working to bring clients’ dreams to life. Her approach focuses on creating experiences that trigger emotions, ensuring every detail leaves a lasting impact. Abbye strives to add a touch of sparkle to each event, filling every moment with magic and joy.

When not planning, Abbye loves spending time with her family, especially her three little sisters. She enjoys a good retail therapy session, traveling, and spontaneous adventures with her bestie girls.

PSA: Weddings should be fun! ✨🤍 the wedding planning process can be stressful but at the end of the day it is two people and two families coming together 🥂

Remember to date through the planning process and I don’t mean making your seating chart over a rushed dinner.

Actually date your person and try to remember the reason for the day.

Lastly, planning doesn’t have to be stressful. Whether it is Partial or Full-Service Planning make sure you have some one to bring the vision to life ✨

Safety Precautions: Prioritize safety with designated areas for sparkler use and provide containers for safe disposal.

Many couples do not account for candles within their budget tapers are about $.75 each and pillar candles are roughly $3-$5 per candle. These discussions are important to ensure the vision and budget align! ✨

Let take a moment to talk about a special gift for your spouse. 💕

1. Make it personal to your love story.

2. Think of logistics, if you are getting custom cuff links you’d want to make sure there suit/tux actually has a spot for them. Trust me this mistake happens all the time.

3. Make it a nice surprise and not something like bold jewelry that they may be uncomfortable incorporating into their look for the day.

4. Establish a budget. “Our range is XYZ…” this helps keep you on the same page!
