Hey everyone! Here is the schedule for this week. As always, lessons are $15 per lesson ($10 for students). However, this Friday, our local USA Dance chapter will be hosting a ballroom dance social at the studio!

Additionally, RDF - Lite Edition is coming this Saturday! It is $15 for the whole day so, be sure to check it out!

For those who don't know Matthew, be sure to say hello when you get to RDF - Lite Edition! Matthew Emerick is the sole developer behind LilacDB as well as CompOS. As I am sure you all know, LilacDB is now the largest most comprehensive amateur ballroom results database in existence. Features are constantly being produced and improved, and it is all thanks to this 21 year old dude.
In addition to maintaining and improving LilacDB, and taking way too many classes at RIT, Matthew has also been developing CompOS, a new ballroom competition scoring software, one that we hope to make publically available within the year. It is also the software we will be using to run RDF - Lite Edition!

(So, for future reference, whenever I mention my "software development team", it's Matt).

Look it's Alicja! Alicja Cygan was our DJ for Rochester Dancesport Festival last Fall, and I have never heard as many compliments about a DJ before that day. Her taste in music is chef's kiss, and we are all excited to hear her music selection next weekend!

Our very own Rochester Dancesport Team will be competing at The Snowball at Penn State this weekend, so there will be no classes on Friday. So, we have been working with DSCO to provide live competitor levels (as specified by YCN) for upcoming competitions, and this feature is now live with Columbia University's Big Apple Dancesport Challenge! But, this feature has been live for a while now. Today's update however, is increasing the speed at which these levels are calculated. Look how fast it is!
