Do you know where your flowers come from? 80% of all flowers sold in the USA are imported from other continents. Only 20% are grown here at home. At Sungrove Blossoms we flip those numbers. We source as many Domestic Grown flowers as possible from small local NY farms and supplement off season from California, Virginia, Florida, Washington, and Ontario Canada. Lower carbon footprint, more seasonal beauty and uniqueness, safer growing and working conditions, greater local economic impact. Don't be afraid to ask where your flowers (and food) come from. We list the origin of all our flowers on the cooler! Thanks for shopping small and supporting local 💕

What is Sungrove Blossoms all about?

Most of my neighbors know me as “the flower lady”, and it’s a label I wear with pride. Nothing brings me quite as much joy as flowers, except when I get to share that joy with others - that's why I made Sungrove Blossoms!

We grow more than just flowers at Sungrove Blossoms. I like to think of myself as a cultivator of ideas, working closely with my clients to help them grow and realize their vision for a special day or event. It's never a one-size-fits-all approach. No job is too small to deserve a personal touch.

For an industry that’s so dependent on the gifts of Mother Earth, we could do more to take care of it. At Sungrove Blossoms, I advocate for sustainability wherever possible: sourcing flowers locally; recycling vases, decorations and packaging materials; and adhering to organic growing practices. Whether it’s a big-budget wedding or a birthday arrangement for a friend, you can feel good knowing that your flowers are only adding to the beauty of the earth.
