One of our most frequently asked questions, how does the final count work with linen rentals?

Let me tell you. Early in the planning you can give me some estimated numbers (are you planning for 25 or 250?). Tell me what you’re thinking for a floor plan (rough numbers and table sizes) and we can talk about color/fabric.

As you approach your special day, I’ll reach out to have you finalize your order (officially due 10 days prior to your event). There is no penalty to bring your numbers down prior to this date. Let’s get started!

National laundry day huh?

Today is National Laundry Day, so we thought we'd take a look at a particular bit of Vermont history: Montpelier was once the home to the nation's clothespin industry with companies like United States Clothespin Company and its many competitors.

This picture is of the large model of a wooden U. S. Clothes Pin, constructed by Charles H. Ellicott Jr. in the 1920s. This model clothes pin was displayed on top of the building at the south end of Montpelier’s Main St. bridge across the Winooski River until sometime in the mid 1900s when the building was torn down.

During the “off” season my goal is to collect images of our linens out in the wild. 🐅🦅 I recently viewed these pictures courtesy of the talented and just had to share.

The florist and client originally requested our soft pink hemstitch napkin 💕which were unfortunately already out that weekend. Well that didn’t stop them.

Quick pivot to white hemstitch 🤍add in the pink ribbon detail 🎀 and they completely nailed the look. I love how they paired it with the pink floral bridesmaid dresses too 💕 .

We’re planning linens for 2024 clients right now, a lot of requests with white & neutral flowers. I wanted to share our Gold Venezia table runner is the perfect accent runner. The brown vases really make the white flowers pop and the embroidered runner adds just the right touch.

Honored to celebrate our 10 year anniversary at one of the amazing venues we work with . The cocktails were absolutely perfect, my husband grinned ear to ear through his entire dinner and the lovely owner Christine gave us a tour of the venue when we finished to see our linens ready for the event tomorrow. While on an amazing gondola field trip with my daughters pre-k class, I inadvertently came across our linens staged for an upcoming event at the Killington Peak. Another parent works for the organization and was generous enough to tour us around the facility. We always suggest you share your team of vendors with everyone. You may notice we ask who else you’re working with so they can have a copy of your linen order before it’s time for set up and early enough to make any last minute edits.

Woah, it’s been a minute. We are just coming off our most intense linen rental season dare I say ever? As you probably know, we do multiple orders (mostly weddings) each weekend. On average I would say 20-25 linen orders head out of here per week in the height of our season.

It’s been a crazy ride - take your guess on how many lovely clients we helped with linen rentals this year?

What are THREE essential things you need when placing your linen order?

1. Your event date. This helps us check availability on items you may be interested in renting.

2. A rough guest count. It doesn’t need to be exact, but some idea if you’re having 25 or 225 people.

3. Your table sizes. Do you need linens for a 5’ round or a 8’ farm table or something else? This will help us get started on a custom quote for you.
