Lucy's Letter...

Hi!

My name is Lucy.
I am 7 years old and in the 1st grade at Westminster Catawba Christian School. I have a sister Dani, a brother Dek, a cat Calvin and two dogs Ella and Gracie. And my mom and dad of course!

I have a Chromosomal Deletion of Chromosome 1.
For me this means I am non-verbal and have some physical and cognitive delays. This doesn’t stop me from loving my family, friends and going to school.

My favorite things to do are listen to music and watch T.V. I like being outside swimming and playing on our playground and I LOVE the beach!

I am introducing myself hoping that it will encourage you to help me raise money for the Miracle Park through the Ruby Slippers Gala. This park will allow me and my friends of all ABILITIES to play on an inclusive playground and even play sports.

You can help support Miracle Park by purchasing tickets for the Ruby Slipper Gala, donating auction items or making a monetary donation.
