While we have been working to get the west side open, we are excited about all the new items we have for holiday shopping. I will share more over the next few days, but here’s a sneak peek. Monday & Tuesday - Phone and Internet orders only. Store Closed to finish building work and set up Christmas.

Wednesday & Thursday - Open 10am - 8pm! the Kitchen will be open 11am - 1:30pm and then 5:00pm - 8:00pm for Pizza, Nachos, Flatbreads & Fun

Friday - Open 10am - 5pm the Kitchen will be open 11am - 1:30pm

Saturday - Open 10am - 3pm Special Open House Mimosa Bar!!

If you have driven by the store at night you may have noticed the lights on. In anticipation of a cold Halloween we have been working overtime to create space inside for our post-trick-or-treat Halloween Party. Can you say PIZZA & STREET CORN NACHOS!! We are also getting ready for our Holiday Open House November 6- 8 and adding Parable coffee to our offerings. Because we have been working on the updating, we will be closing a few days to do some electrical work and decorate for the holidays.

So, mark your calendar:

Thursday night, Halloween Party - Pizza and Nachos - 5pm - 8pm (Costume contest for individuals and families)

Friday, November 1st - 10am - 5pm
Saturday, November 2nd - 10am - 12pm
Monday, November 4 - Tuesday, November 5 Closed (except in case of sympathy and floral work). We will be at the store working and will take floral orders via phone and internet).

Wednesday, November 6 - open 10am - 8pm - the Kitchen Bistro will be open for lunch 11am- 1:30 and then again 5-8.

Thursday, November 7 - open 10am - 8pm - the Kitchen Bistro will be open for lunch 11am- 1:30 and then again 5-8.

Friday, November 8 - open 10am - 5pm
Saturday, November 9 - open 10am - 3:00pm

From then our regular schedule will be as follows:

Monday - open 10am - 3pm - Kitchen Bistro closed.
Tuesday - open 10am - 3pm - Kitchen Bistro open 11:00am - 1:30pm
Wednesday - open 10am - 8pm - the Kitchen Bistro will be open for lunch 11am- 1:30 and then again 5-8.
Thursday - open 10am - 8pm - the Kitchen Bistro will be open for lunch 11am- 1:30 and then again 5-8.
Friday - open 10am - 5pm - Kitchen Bistro open 11:00am - 1:30pm
Saturday, November 9 - open 10am - 3:00pm - Kitchen Bistro closed.

The Kitchen will not be open for lunch today as Cam and I are attending Charcuterie University in Omaha and we graduated! So much fun!!

Subscriptions: Here are some of the flowers we have going out tomorrow for monthly subscriptions. Once a month, we deliver flowers with no charge for delivery or the container. Some of the arrangements range from $25 to $150. They say “thank you”, “I love you”, “thinking of you”, and some are ordered by people for themselves or their office. Who in your life could use a little sunshine once a month?

So Much Going On!! When we purchased Country Boutique 21 months ago we wanted to offer great flowers, classic, quality, gift options and eventually add a little bistro lunch spot; a fun place to gather and hang out. We wanted to be intentional about adding something special and different in downtown Rock Rapids. As we continue down that path we are excited to announce some really great additions to what we are offering.
1. Dutchland Classic Pastries, made locally in Lester, IA. We will have their items in our pastry case every day and are so excited about sharing this product with our community.
2. Creamed Honey, from Still Water Farms, Doon, IA. Oh my goodness!! I LOVE this honey!!
3. Songbird Kombucha! Enough said. If you’ve ever been to the farmers market in Sioux Falls, you may have seen their booth. We will carry several flavors in cans and in the very near near future have it on tap. 
4. Parable Coffee & Espresso!!!
5. Clean Simple Eats - Protein & Collagen drinks and powders.

I’ve been in the kitchen tonight, baking, making some fun things for Octoberfest that starts tomorrow. We hope you will stop down, sample some kombucha, enjoy a treat and join us for one of our grill-outs. We will be in the courtyard tomorrow night from five until about seven grilling brats, enjoying some beverages and eating soft Bavarian pretzels. This Saturday is the Wine Walk and we will be featuring some fabulous German wine. We will also be grilling Brats from 11:00 until 1:30.
