A Jayne story…. I have always loved the Rose Bowl Parade. The fact that every spec of the floats are covered with live or dried materials amazes me. Many years ago I had the opportunity to take an Advanced European Design course with Els Hazenberg, AIFD, a widely respected Dutch designer. I learned SO much and am beyond grateful for her assistance. For about 30 years, Els and her husband George, an orchid grower, worked the Rose Bowl Parade. She was responsible for the flowers on all the special vehicles. Here is a wonderful article about her I wanted to share with you. Thinking of her and inviting you to come get some flowers to usher in the new year.
