Thanks GoEngineer for having us prepare lunch for 140 today. Very nice group of people.

This kicked off a very busy stretch for Matt and our catering teams. Between now and October 11 we will be feeding over 3,000.

Stops include Berne, Celina (multiple times), Lima, Rockford, Van Wert (multiple times) and places in between.

4 wedding receptions, Parkway football meals, corporate lunches, council on aging meals, church event, Beacon of Hope banquet, and Parkway volleyball chicken dinners are on the schedule.

We will be grilling a lot of chicken and pork chops and preparing a crazy amount of food. Matt is very organized and does an awesome job of planning, ordering, and preparing. I get to do a lot of dishwashing 😊

Big thank-you to the United Kennel Club from Kalamazoo, MI for having us feed some of the top c**n hunters in the country tonight in Portland, IN

We fed 250 very hungry, and very grateful, people in 15 minutes. Grilled chicken 1/4’s, beef tips, cheesy potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls and sheet cake were on the menu.

We learned a lot about this organization (check out their website if you enjoy hunting) and met people from many states.

This follows one 3 - shift job earlier this week and leads into another 3 shift job tomorrow.

Thanks again UKC. It was a pleasure working with you on this event!

Amy is a 2012 Parkway graduate, and she shared, “Never in my dreams did I think I would be able to move back home and work at Parkway—but here I am!”

A few fun facts about Amy:
🎵 If she could instantly have one skill, it would be playing the hurdy gurdy (because it’s just a really neat instrument!).
📚 Her favorite subject in school was Band (of course!)—with American History as a close second.
