Just finished up on the grill. We are catering a wedding reception today. The awesome couple wants burgers, dogs, and brats….so that’s what they are getting!

We tell all the couples we work with, “it’s your day” and try to prepare whatever they want.

While many receptions we cater want a “traditional” menu, some don’t. The wedding reception we are catering next week in Bluffton, IN has a rather unusual menu.

Our goal is to exceed the customer expectations for food quality and service.

We have 3 more wedding receptions in August and they are all different.

30 couples have reached out to us about wedding receptions in 2026 and 20 have booked. Some dates are closed. Don’t call and ask us for food on 6/20/26….apparently the date that is the same forward and backwards is popular!

The 2027 calendar has a couple days booked.

We cater for many local businesses, schools, sports teams, and organizations also.

Join us at the Hancock County Fair grounds today, gates are open and so is the show! There are some really cool engines, tractors, but also antiques, flea market items....and of course AMAZING food!!

💥 SOLD OUT 💥 It’s Lasagna Friday! Thick and cheesy 🙌🏻 We are open and ready to serve. We will see you in the drive thru or dine in. 😊 DONT FORGET - 🍕 pizza buffet 5-7! And yes, our famous garlic cheesy bread is available on the buffet.

The setup today was designed for grab n go meals of either a 2 Pattie smashburger & fries or breaded chicken chunks & fries. We got 130 people thru in 12 minutes.

The table on the smashburger side had toppings and condiments and a pan of cookies. The table on the chicken chunk side had some dipping sauces and a pan of cookies.

Matt did a great job of planning and prep work and Susie, Abby, and Josie did a great job of assembling and distributing meals.

It got very warm by the fryers and grill but things went extremely smooth and we got great feedback.

Thanks also to Deb for handling a lunchtime job at Opulence Event Center, LLC.

Today our plumbing was inspected and passed. This is a big hurdle for our three new bathrooms, multiple sinks for brew room, and behind the bar.

One step closer Van Wert…
Still waiting for electric, occupancy, and A1C inspections but 2025 will be our year!!

Haven’t posted for a bit so wanted to offer a quick update. If you’re having trouble sleeping, keep reading….

Wedding season has been a busy time for catering. We catered a reception at Lincoln Ridge last Saturday and will be back there again this Saturday. The week after we will be in Bluffton, IN for a wonderful couple!

We have a couple more receptions in August. Rockford and Sherwood are those destinations.

In between we have many corporate and family jobs scheduled along with numerous food trailer events. Some of those are private and we will share details for those that aren’t. Trying to get setup on StreetFoodFinder….thanks for a heads up on that Jon!

Catering is, and will continue to be, our primary focus. We get the trailer out when time permits. It was a hot one yesterday in Berne!

We will be at the Van Wert Council on Aging next Monday with 275 meals for them to assemble and distribute to those who bought tickets for the August meal program. Boneless breaded chicken breasts are the feature item along with Matt’s famous cheesy potatoes!

Thanks to the area businesses who are having us prepare meals for you this week and next. We will be in Celina and New Bremen tomorrow for jobs.

We have a couple nice jobs scheduled at the Mercer County Fair. Thats coming up soon!
