If you are planning a New Year’s Eve or Buckeye game watch party we have a deal for you.

You can get 20 jumbo (and they are big!) grilled wings for $20. We only have 6 of these deals available. The rest are already sold.

Pickup is at Burtch’s Barn to Table located at 4900 US 33, Rockford, OH. Pickup is between 11:00 am - noon on either New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.

To reserve you need to call 419-953-1392. Do not comment on this post, or a shared post, to reserve wings. We have 6 jobs today and won’t be checking FB with regularity, but will be answering the phone.

I’ll do my best to keep this brief. Here is some bullet points on our great friend Chuck Thompson.

-grew up a few houses down Second Street in Rockford from the Burtch’s
-little league (and even post high school for a year) teammate of mine
-Thompson family moved to Van Wert
-Chuck excelled on the basketball court (see picture below) and diamond
-great career at Wittenberg
-wonderful wife and outstanding family
-extremely successful businessman
-loves God and loves on people

Our lifelong friend has partnered with Matt and me for years at Christmas time to give back to people in the Rockford area. He never forgot his “roots” and his small town, hometown.

We explore different avenues of giving back each year to spread the blessing around.

One of the things we are doing this year, to honor Chuck’s time and accomplishments on the basketball court, is to feed the Parkway HS basketball teams, coaches, and support staff a free meal before tomorrow nights game.

Several other givebacks have taken, or will take, place this week and next.

Some crazy long days the past two weeks. Over 35 jobs the past ten days and several new customers.

Matt has done an amazing job in the kitchen. Text messages like the one we received a little bit ago (see below), not only bring smiles to our faces, they re-energize us. That’s a good thing because we have a few more loooong days ahead.

2 more wedding receptions yet in 2024 to cater along with a job for 300 in Wapak and 20+ other jobs to finish out 2024!

‘Twas the calm before the storm last night in Portland! That Minnich Eggs team works hard, plays hard, and eats a lot of food!

We love working with them! Wonderful group of people and very busy this time of year. 3,000,000+ eggs per day.

Love catering company Christmas parties! Good thing since we have about 35 of them the next two weeks!

Lightly breaded, boneless chicken breasts and slow roasted, seasoned beef were the meats at last nights event!

Thankful for the opportunity to cater the annual meeting event for a great local company.

This is what is happening at 2:00 am this morning🤔

Matt went west into Berne, Indiana a little after midnight to take care of a third shift feeding and I headed north to Van Wert for one.

3 shifts later today in Decatur, a couple more in Van Wert, then 5 jobs Friday.

In between jobs lots of pans to wash, rinse, sanitize, then repeat.

We have a crazy busy month in front of us! Hoping the weather cooperates and things continue to go well.

We appreciate all our customers and our awesome support team!

Looking at the catering calendar this morning. Between now and December 21 there aren’t many days we don’t have one, two, or three jobs scheduled.

Lots of company events on the books along with some family gatherings, basketball team meals, church meals, wedding reception…..a good variety of jobs, with many different menu choices.

There are a few openings if you’re thinking about a company party or have another event we might be able to assist with.
