Our CEO and Creative Director was a Black Achiever Student! How exciting to host this special event in his space here at The Lynex!

We are proud to be hosting our first Black Achievers Reunion Brunch on February 24 at The Lynex! This time together will focus on honoring the past and ushering in the future with a theme of providing Black excellence “A Seat at the Table.”

We are inviting our community partners and former achiever family to join us in a celebration of the program’s history, and to support our next generation of youth achievers as we relaunch the YMCA Black Achievers program in 2024!

OPEN DATE ALERT: as many of you know, venues do not offer refunds once your payments have been made, this is also why we don’t pressure you to book here at The Lynex! A family has to cancel their event because of reasons I just can’t bend on. With that being said, our policy allows for this event to be transferred which means if anyone is still looking to book an event for the summer rate, please inbox me asap. The family is willing to transfer their booking to you. Any available date of your choice. $750.

Lately I’ve been celebrating the small wins, today for the first time….THREE dates have been requested by two or more people at The Lynex! That’s big for me because I wasn’t sure how this new venture of mine would go.
