That’s a wrap…tonight was our last night in this space… the space that didn’t have walls when we first saw it and quickly signed the lease…(how does that feel like yesterday and a lifetime as the same time?!) but today it was hard leaving… this place that we grew into always felt like home for us.
Moving in and having Nolan hanging out in the pack & play….his first steps, playing “store” with him while we were actually working the store, setting up Christmas decorations with my family on late night floor set changes, meeting so many of you amazing brides and customers who are now life long friends… this space holds so many memories, echos of laughter, happy tears, prayers, painful tears, hugs, conversations about big dreams and goals… and tonight as we left Nolan walked around the shop hugging the pillars, walls and windows saying goodbye with tears…we have all so loved this space…my favorite memory will always be the way Nolan’s feet sound when running on the floors of the shop… it’s just a echo of a sound in my mind but one of my favorites and something I will always cherish.
Thank you for all your support friends, this has been the most beautiful journeys and I am so very thankful to have been able to create something special in this space, to create a small part of history in this space and look forward to all the new and beautiful things ahead for this space.
It’s been a goal that when I close a chapter in my life that I have made space or a path for someone else and I am very excited for as us closing London Ave made a space for her new business! If you haven’t started following her yet feel free to check out her feed as she is the next tenant at 214 East State….even as our doors close a new and exciting door opens for her and that is the beauty of life friends 🤍

But with that I am thankful to have some space to figure out what is next, soak up time with Matt & Nolan, and hopefully kickstart the best year… so here is to 2023! 🎉 I hope it’s the best year for you all as well 🥰🥰🥰

✨thankful ✨

Currently sorting through feelings…today was such a beautiful way to end this chapter of my life and I am beyond thankful for all the support, love, encouragement, prayers, tears, laughs and memories made.
I think it’s perfect that tomorrow is Thanksgiving… a day that is focused on gratitude…because that is the primary emotion I feel.
Thank you to our couples, loyal customers, small business neighbors, my incredible employees over the years, the city of Rockford, incredible mentors who have offered such great advice over the years, and most importantly my family… I truly have never walked a single step of this journey alone and I am forever grateful for you believing in me and London Avenue…

✨Last Day ✨

Today is the last day of the shop… everything is 50% off in the store with the exception of the floral and holiday candles 🤍
We will have bouquets and some last min arrangements while supplies last too!

✨New Beginnings ✨
Yesterday was our last “normal” Saturday in the shop… and it was a great day, the snow was falling, people were shopping and all fell right in the little shop! I have so loved seeing you all, giving hugs, and catching up as we end this chapter. You have no idea what it has meant to me to have so many of you come in for our final days at London Ave 🤍
But there are new BIG and exciting things happening for the other two women in this photo and I am so excited to announce we will be open for Stroll on State! 🎄🎉✨
I am hosting an Open House in London Ave as a way for you guys to meet & as they launch their new businesses at the start of 2023 🎉
They will both have items to sell so you can get a sense of what they will have to offer when they open snd I couldn’t be more excited for them!
We will be open 2-8 for stroll so come on in and say hello! Grab some treats in the greenhouse while supplies last, shop for some Christmas Gifts and goodies and come meet these incredible new business ladies! 🤍🤍🤍

✨Final Important Dates ✨

It’s hard to believe it’s here but this week is our final week of regular store hours… We are open Thursday - Saturday 10 am -3 pm
With this week being our final week of being open for regular hours…Everything is 40% off in the shop and all of our furniture and displays are for sale as well this week. It’s all first come first serve so feel free to message us if you have had your eye on anything or stop in the shop a final time to shop our liquidation sale ✨
Here are a couple dates to keep in mind:

✨November 17th - Free Bouquet Day ( bring in a $10 elementary toy donation for some amazing local kids who could use some toys this holiday season and receive a free bouquet!)

✨Nov 18th & 19th - open regular hours.

✨November 23rd - Final day open to pick up Thanksgiving bouquets and arrangements & shop any remaining merchandise 🤍

✨November 26th - Open House for Stroll on State ( more on that event in our shop coming soon)

After that we are hosting our workshops that you guys sold out so quickly & working on moving out of the space… so be sure to mark your calendars to stop in before we leave… sending you all so much love and hope you are having the best start to your week 🤍🤍🤍

|| Spaces + Chapters ||

A lot of you have been asking how I have been doing with closing London Avenue in the next couple weeks..so here are some thoughts I have been having…
This has been one of the most interesting seasons… I feel the heaviness of ending something I spent years dreaming, creating and building and also a feeling of accomplishment knowing I did everything I could in this season to do my best for our customers and community… I am starting to feel a feeling of peace in finally creating space to do the best I can for myself physically, emotionally and spiritually… but some days I feel that more than others and some days are easier than others … and it’s a process that’s unfolding for sure ✨
I don’t fully know what the future looks like, I do know this season and space of rest for myself is meaningful and I am looking forward to it + looking forward to healing and spending time with my family…
But I will miss this space, this has been a beautiful chapter of my life and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of this community, to meet so many of you, to work closely along side you as you plan your events, homes and celebrations… it’s meant more than you know.
Our final day of the shop being open for regular shopping is Wednesday, November 23rd so feel free to call or message us about custom orders, thanksgiving arrangements or just stop in and say “hi” and soak up the shop one more time ✨

Beyond thankful….
I don’t have the perfect words to really sum up everything we are feeling lately.
I had some more tests that came back last week causing some procedures/surgeries with the likely hood of more procedures and treatments in the future… i will be out of the office all of next week recovering from our first part of this journey happening on Monday… but we have hope that it won’t need to be that extensive and taking it as it all comes…because that’s all that any of us can do is stand steadfast and have hope and when you have hope you really can find peace in any situation.
During all of this my friend Mary who owns the beautiful .farmgirl in Rockford had organized a fundraiser to help with our medical bills and expenses we have had building over the past year or more.… it couldn’t have been at a better time and means so much to us during this season of closing London Avenue while walking through this health journey as well especially with the new curve ball.
I really am at a loss of words to say how much that all of this means, the hope it gives and just wanted to take the time to say “thank you” to everyone.. we are thankful, humbled and so thankful for this community… we love you Rockford and thank you Mary for coordinating this for us.. it means more than you know.🤍🤍
I have had a few of you ask on how you can give… I will post on the stories section the link Mary created just in case… but please know seeing your faces in the shop, your messages you have been sending all of it means the world to me… so thank you 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Whew guys we are in the final season of London Avenue and it is feeling just so wild to me… every time I go to post something I get a little emotional with gratitude for all the years we have gotten to do these fun little workshops together 🥰✨

✨Emerald Moon Floral✨
A lot of you have been asking “where am I going to get my floral now?” and I am beyond excited to let you know,Kaya, who had been designing and creating the most beautiful of bouquets with us for the past 6 years is opening her own floral studio in 2023 and will be able to help with all your floral needs!!
On top of that she is also an artist and we are doing a pop up art show this weekend in conjunction with Art Scene on Friday 3-6 ✨🌙🎉

THANK YOU!
Today was beautiful and such a gift… so many couples and past clients coming in to say hello, shop and to catch up. Seeing you all meant so so much! Some of you driving hours to come I just can’t even put into words what that means!
I so cherish each hug, each conversation, meeting your kids and having you meet mine all in our little shop.
It was so so special and i am just beyond thankful for this journey!
There were so many times today the shop was FULL with people and it was just so great seeing it that way, alive, filled with energy and laughter, memories and love.
I am honored to be a part of your lives, your community… thank you for supporting my dream and small business it has and will always mean the world me and my family.

✨Rooting For You ✨
I started this business always wanting it to be more meaningful than just a flower shop.
The past few years have been interesting for all of us, but it opened up an opportunity where we thought we could help. So we launched “ Rooting For You” a campaign where we take nominations for people in our local community who could just use some encouragement. To let them know the place that they have “roots” is literally “rooting for them” and cheering them on with mini grants or specific gifts/items that would bring the needed help and encouragement that can help them make it through a tough season.
As we close the storefront I wanted to be able to do this one last time and recently heard about Vienna and her diagnosis of breast cancer.
Vienna is an amazing mom of two littles… she is a talented local hair dresser & she’s loves her husband fiercely.. her friends expressed how completely kind & selfless she is and so deserving of the community’s support as she faces cancer treatment and upcoming surgeries.

Cancer is brutal disease to contend with and as a community we are here to fight along side as she and her family face this together, by offering some practical financial support.

We have teamed up with our friends to create the “Smells Like Hope” bundle which includes a fragrant fall candle, and fresh seasonal bouquet of flowers delivered to your home….

100% of the sale of this bundle will be going towards Vienna and her beautiful family to spend on medical bills, creating memories together, or just helping take some of the daily financial load off of the family while they pursue her treatment.

This bundle will be delivered on Friday, October 8th so be sure to purchase early and while supplies last!

We also will have the candles & bouquets in the shop this week & next that you can purchase to help support too!

Do you ever have those events in life that make you pause, catch a breath and reflect on just the beauty that is life and relationships…
Todays wedding was for a couple who I love dearly and are family… so each floral arrangement, bouquet and boutonnière was just a little extra more meaningful especially with us closing London Ave this year, It was extra sweet to be a part of… to reflect the passing of time, and to celebrate a truly amazing, selfless and loving couple. 🤍
