I must say the ladies have been showing out for the men they love 😍💙💙…Kisha Butler and her crew worked endlessly to make sure her husband, Darryl’s, 60th Birthday was outstanding 💙💙

And It Was !!💙💙😍

I always say events are one of the ways to show someone you love them, you appreciate them, you cherish them, that they are special to you, and worth all the effort that goes into it ❤️❤️💙💙

For most parents, I truly believe one of the most exciting yet scariest moments is their children growing up, especially daughters.❤️

Exciting because, as a parent you can remember back when the doctor said it’s a girl” 🎀 and the giddy feeling you had. ❤️

From days of putting them on their little cute dress, pom pom sox, and little Barrett’s on the tip of their pony tails, which was also fun mixed with frustration because they didn’t sit still or corporate during the process 😂❤️

But the unconditional love made the moments heart warming each time, even when their sassyness started to arrive 😅😂❤️❤️ And everybody saying “she’s just like you” 🤭😅

Scary because you have to prepare them for a world you once fought so hard to protect them from 🥹❤️

You know what may lie ahead, but hope that your teachings and the help of God will carry them in your absence ❤️❤️

And that’s what makes events like Quinceaneras (age of 15) and Sweet 16’s so precious, your daughter crossing that first threshold of life before your eyes 🥹❤️❤️

And we here at Venue 89 enjoy being a part of those memories 🙏🏿❤️❤️

Announcement, we now have the Queen Of The Tea Parties, Brandie-Nicole Watkins The Esthetics Lab-Wax Studio 🫖 🍵 🎈🎈🎀 💅 💖

She truly went all out for her customers and friends, to show her appreciation for them 🎈🍵💖. The boujee was indeed boujee-ing. Every detail was executed, and I’m sure they all enjoyed and had a ball 🎈🎈🍵💖

One of the beautiful things about this baby shower, along with the customer, Khalea, who hosted it with us, and the decor, done by SLBL Decor and More….❤️

Is the theme, Clifford The Big Red Dog! If you know the story, it’s about a dog who grew based on love ❤️ The more he was loved, the more he grew. And as story goes, he grew big !!!❤️

Thats also what makes Baby Showers so special🎈There’s something special inside of a mother to be, and during a baby shower it is showered with so much love and anticipation, a long with a few meatballs and pasta salad 😅😂 ❤️

But all the love helps ensure its growth and arrival is nothing short of amazing, and continuous after birth❤️❤️

Baby Showers will always be a special event ❤️❤️🎈🎈

What really makes an event special , whether it’s a birthday event, baby shower, bridal shower, wedding, or just an appreciation event, is it’s always a Full Circle Of Happiness ❤️

Here’s what I mean: So sure, the person who it’s for is always more than happy to be celebrated and appreciated. ❤️🎈

But, the person who planned it and put it together is always just as happy to do so. To them, that person is worth the work and sacrifice, and They get a huge amount of joy seeing the other person happy! ❤️❤️🎈

That’s something special ❤️ Who makes you happy, just seeing them happy ??

At one of the baby showers we hosted, I ended up in a conversation with the Grandmother of the baby to come, and she said something I thought was deep about mother hood.

She said “Becoming a mother is also learning about all the stengths you didn’t know you had. And making a choice everyday to put someone else’s happiness and well-being before your own”

Much respect to all the mothers, grandmothers, and moms-to-be, without your strength and commitment none of us would exist 🙏🏿🙏🏿🎈🎈🎈
