I'll have this colorful adult size apron going up in the shop this week, and a child's size in the same fabrics coming soon! Definitely feeling the bright colors right now...hello spring!

Shop update Sunday, and happy Spring! I've been a bit under the weather this week and didn't get much done, but I've got a few new aprons in the works that will hopefully be in the shop next week. I've got some new to me second hand fabrics in gorgeous springy colors, and a few fun ideas, so stay tuned!
Time for another Shop Update Sunday!
Today I'm sharing my newest product, a foraging bag. This one's just a test, so I'll be keeping it, but by next week I hope to have a couple in the shop. The bag folds up, attaches to your belt, and is perfect for collecting foods in nature--mushrooms, ramps, berries--or vegetables in your own garden!

Shop Update Sunday! These three aprons (first two adult size, third children size) will be going up in the shop at some point this week, after I can get better photos of them. Things are slow right now as I am busy with work and preparing for spring (aren't we all?!) but I've got a couple more things in the works, including new products and more. Check back in next week for more updates!
It's Shop Update Sunday, and I've got exciting news! After a long break for moving and other dramas, I've officially made my Etsy shop active again. In the next couple of weeks I'll be doing some more sewing and adding new items for sale.
It will mostly be aprons and foraging bags at first, but I've got plans for a few new cloaks and other things that will be added later on.
Just a few small changes to the shop that I'll list here: Shipping times may be longer. I can only get to the post office about once a week, so items will only be able to be shipped on that day.
I'm also working in a smaller, shared workspace than in the past, with children, dogs, and cats around.
Finally, in an attempt to reduce waste and keep things out of the landfills, I'm going to be using mostly secondhand fabrics. Having been rescued from garage sales, thrift stores, friends attics, and other places, some of these fabrics may have slight imperfections. I believe that adds character, but I understand that may not be for everyone.
That said, catch up with me here each week for news, items coming to the shop, and more.

Hello friends, I know it's been a while! My life, health, and everything in between has been pretty chaotic and I hadn't been able to keep up with the extra work of sewing, however I'm hoping to make a comeback this spring! If all goes well I'll be making new aprons just in time for Easter, as well as a few other ideas I'm toying with. From there I do hope to start making cloaks again as well, but one step at a time.
I'll be posting with new photos and more when the Etsy shop opens back up.

After a week of many delays--everything from my fabric order being delivered to the wrong address, to my sewing machine breaking down again--I'm back up and running. A couple new items coming to the shop this week! I was hoping to have more, but my sewing machine never got the memo that we were back to work, and we've been arguing. Hopefully the problem is now resolved, and I'll have more projects done soon!

I'm still on a temporary hiatus, but I'm taking a break from moving to put up a small table at a mini vending event at my cousins house today and tomorrow...Briscoe Rd in Jeffersonville! Whatever doesn't sell here will be going in my Etsy shop next week!

Headed to the shop this weekend! This kids cloak, size 10-12, is lined with a cozy plaid fleece. Perfect for fall!
Now that spooky season (aka fall) is about to begin, I felt that something plaid was in order. This blue and white plaid fall cloak will be coming to the shop this weekend, so be on the lookout!

It's been a minute since I updated, and I must apologize. Life has been a bit insane here.
Today I just finished up this apron which a family member commissioned. I plan to make a couple more for my shop.
I'm still working on a couple other commission items but should be back to posting more in the shop soon. Thank you everyone for understanding!

This simple apron is going to be available here only. I'm fighting with my sewing machine so it has a few minor defects, but it's still cute! $30
What does everyone think of this type of apron?
I've wanted to try making these for a while now, so today I sat down and made a test version. (Later versions will have pockets, applique, embroidery, etc.)
Who would be interested to see these in my shop in the near future?
In addition to being farm aprons for egg or veggie collecting, this kind would be great for cooking with as well!

I now have an adult sized farm apron to match yesterday's kids apron! It will be heading to the shop tomorrow. $45 adult size, $35 kids size, or $65 for both.
My sewing machine is up and running again and I'm feeling much better, and I'm so excited to share today's finished product! I'll be making a few more of these, including at least one adult size. This will be available here until my shop update on Sunday. $35
I had hoped to have another finished product to share with you today, but it just wasn't in the cards. Between sewing machine malfunctions, remnants of yesterday's tension migraine, and other misfortunes, I was unable to finish anything. Here's a sneak peek of my current project, which I will hopefully be unveiling tomorrow.
This will be the last of my blue checkered chicken aprons! (I’ll have more chicken aprons in the near future, just not in this pattern.) It will be going in my shop on Sunday, but will be available here until then. Children’s, one size fits most. $35

All upcycled shirts are made from secondhand items and leftover fabric. All stitching is done by hand. Each one is a little different and made with love!
I've hit a few roadblocks in today's project, including but not limited to multiple interruptions from my minis, thread malfunctions, and more... So, it's not getting finished today.
But! My little Selkie did give it her Seal of approval. 😉 Stay tuned tomorrow for the finished product!
