Shop Update Sunday!
I'll have this colorful adult size apron going up in the shop this week, and a child's size in the same fabrics coming soon! Definitely feeling the bright colors right now...hello spring!

Shop update Sunday, and happy Spring! I've been a bit under the weather this week and didn't get much done, but I've got a few new aprons in the works that will hopefully be in the shop next week. I've got some new to me second hand fabrics in gorgeous springy colors, and a few fun ideas, so stay tuned!

Time for another Shop Update Sunday!
Today I'm sharing my newest product, a foraging bag. This one's just a test, so I'll be keeping it, but by next week I hope to have a couple in the shop. The bag folds up, attaches to your belt, and is perfect for collecting foods in nature--mushrooms, ramps, berries--or vegetables in your own garden!

Shop Update Sunday! These three aprons (first two adult size, third children size) will be going up in the shop at some point this week, after I can get better photos of them. Things are slow right now as I am busy with work and preparing for spring (aren't we all?!) but I've got a couple more things in the works, including new products and more. Check back in next week for more updates!

It's Shop Update Sunday, and I've got exciting news! After a long break for moving and other dramas, I've officially made my Etsy shop active again. In the next couple of weeks I'll be doing some more sewing and adding new items for sale.
It will mostly be aprons and foraging bags at first, but I've got plans for a few new cloaks and other things that will be added later on.

Just a few small changes to the shop that I'll list here: Shipping times may be longer. I can only get to the post office about once a week, so items will only be able to be shipped on that day.
I'm also working in a smaller, shared workspace than in the past, with children, dogs, and cats around.
Finally, in an attempt to reduce waste and keep things out of the landfills, I'm going to be using mostly secondhand fabrics. Having been rescued from garage sales, thrift stores, friends attics, and other places, some of these fabrics may have slight imperfections. I believe that adds character, but I understand that may not be for everyone.

That said, catch up with me here each week for news, items coming to the shop, and more.

Hello friends, I know it's been a while! My life, health, and everything in between has been pretty chaotic and I hadn't been able to keep up with the extra work of sewing, however I'm hoping to make a comeback this spring! If all goes well I'll be making new aprons just in time for Easter, as well as a few other ideas I'm toying with. From there I do hope to start making cloaks again as well, but one step at a time.
I'll be posting with new photos and more when the Etsy shop opens back up.

A couple new items coming to the shop this week! I was hoping to have more, but my sewing machine never got the memo that we were back to work, and we've been arguing. Hopefully the problem is now resolved, and I'll have more projects done soon!

I'm still on a temporary hiatus, but I'm taking a break from moving to put up a small table at a mini vending event at my cousins house today and tomorrow...Briscoe Rd in Jeffersonville! Whatever doesn't sell here will be going in my Etsy shop next week!

Shop Update Sunday: Hey all, Kat's Cloaks and More will be on a temporary hiatus as I move to a new temporary workspace! That's also why the last few weeks have been pretty slow. Everything should be back up and running as normal in a couple of weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

That said, with the holidays quickly approaching, what kinds of fabrics or new items would you like to see in the shop? I'd love to hear your feedback!

It's been a minute since I updated, and I must apologize. Life has been a bit insane here.
Today I just finished up this apron which a family member commissioned. I plan to make a couple more for my shop.
I'm still working on a couple other commission items but should be back to posting more in the shop soon. Thank you everyone for understanding!
