The forecast in Foresthill, CA was predicting a rainstorm for Lindsay and Dominic’s wedding at Forest House Lodge back in May. But about 2 hours before the ceremony was scheduled to begin, the snow began to fall on Grand Sierra Pointe, creating a beautiful winter wonderland scene that added a certain magic to the whole thing. I filmed this wedding solo which means I have officially unlocked the achievement “Film a wedding by yourself with an unexpected snowstorm with the least grippy shoes possible”.
Thankfully we all made it back to FHL for dinner, dancing, and a late night casino party.

An absolutely epic wedding at @foresthouselodge for @dchaklos and @lindsay_arrington here’s some behind-the-scenes:
🌧️ the forecast started showing rain earlier in the week so we scheduled an extra #firstlook shoot for the day before when it was the sunniest day ever up at the ceremony site, and prepped for rain.
☃️⛄️❄️ as a complete surprise to everyone, snow started to fall pretty heavily just a couple hours before the ceremony. Honestly, looked amazing and it’s preferable to rain, however I wish I had brought better shoes and maybe some gloves
but it all worked out and we managed to keep the party going well into the wee hours of the night with casino dealers and great music ♠️♥️♣️♦️
