Hey it's me Christy!

As the weather changes a bit ( though winter may return) I find myself excited for spring. The colors, sounds and the energy we get as the warm sun shines on our faces are just a few things I have been thinking about lately.

I wait in anticipation for my 700 spring bulbs poke their noses out of the ground but they better not dare do it early. I say that as if they listen to my threat. Don't worry I will post a picture once they are springing up!

The story goes like this ( disclaimer I'm not the best story teller)..

On Valentine's Day I received a phone call from a sweet lady ( 97 years old) and she asked for either some flowers or a blooming houseplant to be delivered that day. Her price point was on the lower end for a holiday and she decided to choose the houseplant because it fit her budget.. I could tell she wanted flowers so I decided to bless her with both..

I usually don't share these blessings because I like to keep those acts of kindness private but I feel people need to know where my heart is and this is something I felt compelled to do on Valentine's Day. It was a busy day with lots happening but in the midst of it all this was an opportunity to give a gift of kindness.
I encourage you all to give a kind word, gift, or a smile to someone who needs it.. it goes a long way! I later received a thank you phone call from her saying how much she loved the flowers! Flowers are ethereal beauty and they keep people in the moment!

Small business Saturday!!! Open 1-5 pm Friday we will be closed to spend time with family but we resume regular business hours Tues -Sat 1-5pm!

Bloom bar will be open at the shop today and tomorrow 1-5 pm. That means you choose your stems and create a one of a kind bouquet. All stems are priced individually.
