Renovations are moving along for the Gaebler building!

We pulled the plastic off the ceiling and the floors are progressing on being sanded. Duct work is going in and walls are getting prepped for paint.

Our crew is currently working hard on repairing the Gaebler building, including restoring this gorgeous, original hardwood floor! We cannot wait to show you all the end results when we reopen for the maple festival on February 22nd!

Update, due to expected weather and NPC schools closing, yoga is cancelled for FRIDAY. First class will be MONDAY JANUARY 13th. Future classes will follow local school district closings.

Our website got an update today! (So many many more to come.)

This particular one is exciting for me. It's a call for vendors PAGE! Now potential vendors have ONE place to look to learn about events at Billie Creek that need vendors. I really hope this streamlines the process and makes it easier for vendors to find out about opportunities at Billie Creek.

Vendors are so wonderful to have at events and I hope this helps bring in new and more!

Update, due to expected weather and NPC schools closing, yoga is cancelled for FRIDAY. First class will be MONDAY JANUARY 13th. Future classes will follow local school district closings.

We are excited that Michelle Moore is continuing her teaching practice of restorative yoga at the Memorial Presbyterian Church!

Michelle Moore began practicing yoga over 10 years ago seeking a tool to be used for stress and anxiety. She completed her RYT200 certification through Christine Yovanovich at Indiana Yoga Studio in 2019. As a believer that yoga is for everyone, Michelle has shared yoga with students from 3 to 86. “I am excited to spread the joy and happiness of yoga to all my students.”

Her classes will typically focus on a slower paced flow with deliberate movements into various yoga poses held for several breaths each. Classes will focus on increasing muscle strength, better balance, and stress reduction through breath and relaxation.

Today is the FINAL day for Christmas at the Village: Billie Creek! Visit TONIGHT from 4-8pm for lights, dinner at the cafe, last minute hand made gifts from the General Store, and more.

We hope to see you!!! The Gaebler Café has French Onion soup, sweet treats, and plenty of hot cocoa to keep you warm.

Our cafe, blacksmiths, general store, and buildings are ready for you tonight!!! We look forward to hosting your family 4-8pm through Dec 23rd.

Working on packing up The Gaebler Café's amazing hot cocoa mix!!! It'll be available in the café TONIGHT!!!

The 6oz jars are ready to go. The 10oz vintage jars are giving me some grief and not wanting to properly seal, so we'll see.

Only a few more days of Christmas at the Village: Billie Creek. Visit 4-8pm. See Santa on Friday AND Saturday this weekend. Visit with TWO blacksmiths on Saturday. The cafe will be OPEN on Monday the 23rd.

The village closes after December 23rd for the season. We'll be back in February to celebrate Parke County Maple Syrup Fair.

This is the final weekend that we will be open! Stop in at our Gaebler Cafe for some delicious soup! We have limited quantities of broccoli cheddar, beef & barley, and French onion! All made with homemade sweet bread. Open today through December 23rd, 4pm to 8pm! Don't miss your chance before we close for the winter!

Smudge restock!!! We now have lotions back in stock and a larger variety of bar soaps. My favorite is the popular Gardner's hand soap with ground pumice, poppy seeds, and apricot kernels in it. A perfect stocking stuffer for those who love to garden! 🎁

Smudge is based out of Iowa and curates their soaps, candles, and lotions to evoke and improve the "mood" of the name. I keep a car diffuser of Calm on my rear view mirror!

Only a few more days to shop!!! Visit 4-8pm each night through Dec 23rd. So much to see, Santa (Friday AND Saturday), our blacksmiths (Friday AND Saturday) The Gaebler Café, and the General Store!!!
