We are still basking in the magic of Miriam and David’s breathtaking reception here at our venue. From the moment they walked through our doors every moment was filled with love, joy, and enchantment. The sun-kissed gardens provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic reception.

With options of where you’d like to get married to options of where you’d like your reception set up, you really can’t go wrong with choosing this venue. Krista was absolutely wonderful and such a joy to work with and quickly answered any questions we had! Our guests raved about the chapel and the reception set up and we really felt that it was the best place to really get quality time with everyone! “I can’t recommend this venue enough! It has such a magical, warm, tucked away feeling. Little Wren provides stunning landscaping surrounding the chapel, an entire guest suite next-door for bridal prep, both an indoor reception space and a covered deck outdoors, as well as a separate deck for outdoor ceremonies. The staff were all so incredibly warm and accommodating and truly made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Krista even drove 45 minutes out of her way to return someone’s forgotten keys to them. The entire event was beautiful from start to finish and they helped make sure it became a day to be remembered affectionately forever. I only wish I had gotten some photos to attach here. It really was so beautiful. Thank you guys so much for everything.”

Our Story

Little Wren Weddings is owned by WLJurgens LLC. We are a family business that desires to share our beautiful 505 Boydstun property with the local community and beyond. The desire to share this space is rooted in the generosity our family was shown by Grandma and Grandpa Jurgen’s. Grandpa Wilfred was a Nebraska farm boy who loved hard work, tractors, fishing and spending time with his grandkids. Grandma Lydia loved spending time outside and entertaining friends. She also loved birds - cardinals and wrens in particular. When you visit the chapel chances are good you will see one or both of these enjoying the garden. The Little Wren Chapel name was chosen with Grandma and Grandpa in mind. Their generosity and love helped shape an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving in the lives of their children and grandchildren. Their generosity has allowed Little Wren Weddings to become part of our family legacy.

WLJurgens LLC wishes to honor the memory of Wilfred and Lydia and their model of generosity, thanksgiving and love of Jesus Christ by being generous, thankful and hospitable in a manner that reflects the Christian faith we share.
