Our manager Preston shares a closer look at the floral arrangements we will be making at our Wine & Design classes on September 30 and October 7! 🍁🥰🧡🍂 Everyone will learn how to arrange flowers inside a real pumpkin vase while enjoying wine and snacks. Tickets are only $35! Our class on September 30 is now full, but we still have seats available for our class on October 7. The class starts at 7 PM and lasts 2 hours. Our Story

Lakeside Florist was founded 20 years ago in Rockwall, TX by Tommie Wells. She bought the company Kris’s Kreations, a small flower shop in the Stein Mart square. With her passion for flowers and a great business sense, she grew the business and rebranded it to make it one of the most well-loved flower and gift shops in town.

Eventually, Tommie moved Lakeside Florist onto Horizon Road just across from Buffalo Creek and her son Preston joined the family business after college. The dynamic duo served the Rockwall community together and added gift baskets with gourmet food products, local Texas wines, and other treats to the inventory. They crafted elaborate wedding displays for blushing brides, comforted grieving families choosing the right funeral flowers, and helped teens get decked out with mums and corsages for their homecoming dance. No matter the occasion the Lakeside Florist team was constantly striving to have the perfect flowers and the exceptional customer service to match.

In July of 2020 Tommie and Preston achieved something they had always dreamed about - moving the family business to Downtown Rockwall. They set up their beautiful new location at 506 N Goliad to include a consultation room for brides, a market full of food and wine products, and an inventive fresh flower bar. Today our Lakeside Florist team is happy to welcome visitors in the door as we have for the past 20 years. Guests can enjoy the sunshine from tables on our big front porch, pick up locally-sourced Texas wine, or build a custom floral creation. Whether it’s a special occasion or “just because” we have the perfect fresh flowers and unique gifts for you.
