There are some people asking if they can still show up after dark after my last post please do not show up after dark. We will not let you in. It is dangerous for cars to be going in in the dark. There’s kids running around on top of the fact that it’s not fair for people to have to worry about parking you.we love doing this. This is a hobby for us. Please show up before six Show an event will start after.

OzFest public displays are here!

Car pass required for entry.

OzFest is a fireworks festival in Rocky Mount, MO.

Friday the 13th we will have an exploding pumpkin (or two) sometime after 6:00PM. Followed by loud boomer fireworks (weather/wind will determine start time for these). We will have many Maltese style cylinder shells. There will be large fireworks rockets with headings. All shells will be fired individually with an announcements. We hope everyone enjoys the show! We will be shooting fireworks up until 10:30PM. WE SUGGEST ALL SPECTATORS ARRIVE BEFORE 5:00PM! We should have more than 8 food trucks as well as other vendors. Bring your out lawn chairs!

Saturday the 14th will be our pyromusical. 30 minutes of fireworks choreographed to movie themes. Over 1000 fireworks! This display will start after 8:00PM weather/wind permitting! We suggest all spectators are there by 6:00PM! We will have more than 8 food trucks and other vendors available.

All spectators will be required to sign a waiver including guardians signing for all minors. You will receive a wrist band.

Well, OzFest public displays are one week away! We will have a waiver to be signed as you enter the gate. Everyone must sign and parents/guardians must for minors. Everyone will receive a wrist band once signed in.

OzFest is a firework festival.

Friday will be USA made Maltese, and Italian style cylinder shells. American Made Japanese style Ball shells. Most of these were made on site. All were made by hand.

Saturday will be a 30 minute pyromusical with movie themed music and a fire dancer.

We will have many food trucks on site, so bring your appetite.

YOU MUST HAVE A PARKING PASS TO ATTEND!

If you don’t have your parking pass, please PM us! Passes are $10 per vehicle, per night. We can accept Venmo, PayPal, Zillo, and cash.

We suggest everyone arrive by 4:00PM.

OzFest 2023 is coming in a little over two weeks. Starting this weekend we will be having occasional shell tests. These will not be done later than 8:30 on weeknights and no later than 10:00 on weekend nights.

Please consider coming to see our shows on October 13th and 14th.

October 13th starting at 5:00 PM will be the builders showcase where American fireworks hobbyists will shoot shells they have hand made on site. They will be ball shells to 12” diameter, rockets of all kinds with headings, and very intricate cylinder shells that take many hours to make. Some of these shells can have over 400 individually fused effects in one shell.

October 14th will be a pyromusical. Starting after dark with over 30 minutes of fireworks timed to music. Gas mines, shells to 12” diameter, fire dancer, and more! Over 1200 individually scripted fireworks. Most of these fireworks are all hand built right here in Rocky Mount, MO!

The only way to come see these displays is with a vehicle pass from Ozark Fireworks. The passes are $10 per vehicle per day. Bring as many people in each vehicle as you like! Ozark Fireworks is the ONLY way to obtain a parking pass. Parking passes must be purchased prior to the event.

All donations and surplus from parking passes after parking expenses are paid will be donated directly to Rocky Mount Fire Protection District!

We will have a plethora of food trucks for everyone on site!

This year we will have a professional PA/speaker system sponsored by a local construction company!

This event is 100% drug and alcohol free! No exceptions. If you are seen with alcohol or drugs on site you will be escorted off the property immediately. Please do not smoke out of respect for your fellow spectators.

All fireworks at this event will comply with NFPA 1123, permitted and manufactured under Federal and Missouri State explosives license. Ozark Fireworks, LLC.

Fireworks to music, “Pyromusucal” mainly color, more simple, but still large, fireworks choreographed to music with an occasional small boomer and fireball thrown in.

Everyone I want to thank everyone for understanding the costs associated with parking hundreds of cars safely and orderly. We have about 200 passes left for each day. Any further parking passes will cost $10 per vehicle per day.

ATTENTION ROCKY MOUNT RESIDENTS:
If you are an adjoining neighbor to the display property including across the road, CONTACT US FOR A FREE PASS! Please come down and enjoy the show front and center! Grab some food truck grub! We want our neighbors to be happy! Everything we do is legal, but we’d like to get along with our neighbors!

Please bring SUV, Trucks, and other AWD/4WD vehicles if possible. Cars are OK, but we have limited space for cars, we can park taller vehicles anywhere!

Please understand, those of you not familiar with this event. It is a horse pasture! There will be lumps, bumps, roots, sticks, snakes, rocks, small ditches, bugs, horse turds (lol), and other things that are common in a horse pasture. Because of this and the inherent risk of fireworks in general everyone will sign a waiver as they enter. (The insurance and attorneys insist!)

I have hired a professional audio engineer to install a concert quality apeaker system for this year.

Everyone After evaluating the expense associated with expanding parking we have decided to double our parking area to include the upper field. To make this work, we will be required to hire parking attendants.. We will be accepting parking passes on a per-day basis at $10 per pass. If you are interested in a $10 parking pass Please PM Ozark Fireworks with the desired day or days. We will accept a Zell, Venmo, or PayPal payment for the pass.

We will NOT be accepting non-parking pass vehicles on site. You must have a parking pass IN HAND before arrival.

If you already have a pass for this year, you DO NOT NEED TO PAY! This is only for new passes.

We would have preferred to keep this free, but we cannot afford to spend money on hiring parking attendants for spectators.

OzFest 2023 car passes to be released at 12:00 AM September first. They will be first message first served. Message either Ozark Fireworks or Richard Shannon. We will stop at 300 car passes. We have some overflow parking but it is TRUCK OR HIGH SUV ONLY due to grass fire concerns.

If you are walk-in, there is plenty of room for spectators. We only have limited parking.

This year we are hiring a professional PA system for announcements and the pyromusical.

OzFest is a hobbyist Fireworks convention. Fireworks makers from across the USA come to Rocky Mount to build and shoot some of the most complex fireworks imaginable. There are very few places in the world where you can witness fireworks like what will be built and shot at OzFest. The public show dates will be October 13th and 14th.

OzFest 2022 is now over. We all had a great time!

This year we are having a contest for the Pyromusical music! Whoever is the FIRST to post with a MOVIE THEMED song (name movie, song title and artist) and is chosen for our show will receive a free OzFest 2023 long sleeve T-Shirt!

OzFest 2023 will have a more restrictive report size (boomers). After speaking with the community we believe that some of them were too much. Next year we will still have reports, but we will be more stringent! Insuring they are kept within limits! (Note our Pyromusical was not over the top)
