Who is Chef ShebaStar?

Who has time to write a bio when you’re always cooking for your family and friends?....

I am Chef Sheba Andrews. As a product of Eastern North Carolina, “I’ll bless your heart” with the most delightful treats. I am sweeter than sugar and humble as pie. My Banana Puddin’ cupcakes are to die for and Shrimp and Grits will tickle your fancy!! With the belief that happiness is homemade; my secret ingredient, love shines through every dish. From Savory Roulades to Buttermilk Pie, only the best ingredients are used to completely tantalize your taste buds.

My interest for cooking sparked at an early age. From high school to college, working in a local Mom and Pop restaurant enhanced my love for cooking and people. After graduating from college and blossoming as a Mental Health Professional, I decided to pursue my passion of becoming a Chef. Knowing my way around the kitchen was no challenge, however baking was. I am a graduate of The Chef’s Academy of Harrison College.

The highlights of my blossoming career include being featured on NBC 17’s My Carolina Today “Cooking With The Chef’s Academy”, being featured in an article of The Cary News, showcasing at the Triangle Chef’s Showdown, becoming a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher and mentor. I continue to collect memories and experiences.
