Understanding the Reality of Weddings
Weddings are often portrayed as perfect events filled with joy, love, and flawless ex*****on. However, the reality is that no wedding is without its imperfections. Despite how much we plan… because of life. From minor mishaps like a misplaced item, make up taking too long, the room being set up different than you imagined due to logistics, maybe you feel it takes too long for your guest to go through the buffet line, perhaps your DJ Plays a song at the wrong time or you can’t find your hairspray.-to larger issues such as vendor delays or unexpected weather changes, the day may not unfold exactly as planned. It’s essential to acknowledge that these imperfections are part of the experience and unfortunately do happen from time to time- and they do not diminish the significance of the marriage itself.
Here is a great real life example of how things can happen! And how it’s important to keep a good perspective.
Many decades ago, Miss Pearl’s brother got married. In attendance of course ,were our Grandparents. As the reception began to get a little more rowdy than they were ready for, our grandparents decided it was time to head home. Our Grandfather had lost some weight, and his pants were a bit too lose- even with a belt.
As my brother was walking with my Grandma and Grandpa to their car. everyone was watching, as this was a touching moment between Grandparents and their Grandson;even the photographer was in place to snap a photograph of the exit . What a great picture to have , the 3 of them arm in arm walking away - during one of the happiest times in our families life, right?! Well wait for it!

To their car, our Grandpa lost his pants- right down to his ankles! My Brother just reached down, pulled them up, and they kept strolling to the car! We all
Laughed - including Grandma and Grandpa. My brother and his new wife could have been mortified , embarrassed , and allowed it to stain the other than that, perfect day. Instead it’s a favorite memory of Miss Pearl’s and her family. Who could have planned for that?
