Huxley has been waking up 3 times a night & this is the first day in about two weeks I haven’t had a session, wedding or worked at the wine bar & to say I’m exhausted would be an understatement. Lolz.

Not to be all like “woah is me” because I realize I am blessed to have this much work but me is woaaaahhhhhh, it’s time to take a nap. 🫠😂

// How is it the middle of October?! I swear this time of the year comes around & I feel like I’m going to be prepared & here we are again, feeling like we’re treading water in a never ending pool full of edits. 😂

At least I get to stare at cuties like these two on my screen all day! Carissa has been a friend of mine since preschool & it’s so funny how again, life flashes before your eyes & all the sudden all your pre-school friends are getting married or having babies. 🥺

// Some of the sweetest souls you’ll meet. ✨ honored to have been a part of their day by capturing some amazing moments.

One thing I’ve noticed myself saying on almost every initial FaceTime or phone call with potential clients is how truly honored I am that they’re even considering having me capture their special day. Truly, it still to this day gives me the chills that people hire me to capture one of the most memorable & meaningful days of their life’s. Even after photographing over 100+ weddings I still have those “pinch me” moments every time a new inquiry roles in, even if they don’t end up hiring me - the fact that they took the time to consider is still so so so neat.

It’s one thing to like your job but it’s another to simply cherish it & I truly hope that when I photograph a wedding it shows that I absolutely love my job. 📷 //

Ashley & Evan are two people that are just meant to be. Being able to be the one to capture such an important & intimate relationship truly is something special.

When Ashley told me they were going to elope & wanted me to capture it, asked if I had recommendations for places to photograph & gave me an option to design her own bouquet I was in photographer heaven.

The morning was so peaceful & everything turned out so vibrant & beautiful.

Very thankful for a hubby to take the 5am feed for baby Huxley so that I could photograph these for Ash & Evan. ✨ //

// Dating anniversary session’s are easily becoming some of my fav sessions to photograph! These two cuties booked me for their one year dating anniversary & talk about ADORABLE! Loved their playful nature towards each other. 🥺

Logan & I just celebrated 8 years of being married yesterday & it’s sessions like this one that remind me to never stop dating your spouse! Set up the tent, be playful & silly & remember to still date each other!
