For any RTB members (or potential members) wishing to play in a spring band, the Missouri S&T Symphonic Band will once again welcome community members to join. Rehearsals will be on Thursdays from 6:00-8:30pm in the Band Room at Castleman Hall beginning JANUARY 18TH. We have two concert scheduled; February 25th and April 7th (both 2:00pm).

Due to the forecast of excessive heat, the June 29th concert with our guests the Bear Brass will be held inside Leach Theatre at 7:30p.m. Don't let the heat keep you away from this great event!

We had our first rehearsal of the summer season with 35 players! Next rehearsal is this Thursday at 7pm. All brass, woodwind, and percussion players welcome, but we're in special need of trombones.

A reminder that our first Rolla Town Band rehearsal for the Summer 2023 season is TONIGHT at 7pm in the Missouri S&T Band Room.

If you’ve never been there, we’re located in Castleman Hall (400 W. 10th St). The best way to get to the Band Room is through the back entrance near the corner of 11th and State Streets. The doors lock after 5pm so we’ll have someone standing at the door to let you in between 6:30 and 7.

For those of you who have expressed interest in having the Rolla Town Band to perform beyond our regular summer season, I have good news...

This spring, members of the Rolla Town Band (or any community members for that matter) are welcome to perform with the Missouri S&T Symphonic Band!

Rehearsals will be Thursdays from 6:00-8:30pm in the Band Room in Castleman Hall. Our first rehearsal will be January 27th. We have 2 concerts slated for February 27 and April 10, both at 2:00pm.

As always, anyone of any age and ability level is welcome to join us. If you are interested or have any questions, please email me at [email protected] with your name and instrument so I can start getting a head count.

I look forward to working with you all again soon!

Tonight we had the largest crowd for a home concert since I've been directing the group. It was so wonderful performing for such a great audience. Thank you for coming out tonight and for supporting us throughout our summer season.

To all the players who devoted their time and talents, thank you so much for a great season. I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in 2022!

We're excited to announce that the Rolla Town Band WILL RETURN THIS SUMMER!!! The process of putting together the schedule has begun, but it will look similar to what we've done in the past with rehearsals and performances occurring on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Certain precautions will also be in place to ensure safety.

We're going to need a lot of musicians this summer, so if you're looking for an excuse to dust off your old horn, of if you're a student looking to keep up your playing over the summer, come join us!
