The QYON Aerosports Jet Team has wrapped up today’s performance, which concludes the 2022 Wings Over North Georgia Air Show! We’d like to say thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s air show and the debut of the AirShow Racing Series.
We’ll be conducting our Veterans Parade this afternoon as a salute to our nation’s veterans. If you’re a veteran attending the show, we’d love for you to join us at 2:15 on the north side of the field to participate in the parade. We thank all of our veterans for your courage and commitment to serve this great nation.
We have several aircraft on static display at the north end of the field! Be sure to head over, check them out, and chat with the pilots!

The C-17 Globemaster III has joined us for this weekend’s Wings Over North Georgia Air Show, courtesy of the Mississippi Air National Guard! It will be on static display all weekend.

The U. S. Navy Blue Angels made every effort possible to perform a full demonstration during today’s air show. Ceilings to the north with limited visibility required the team to end their demo early. As always, the safety of our spectators and performers is our top priority. Blue Angels will be at the fence line after they land for autographs!! The A-10 is the Air Force's premier close air support aircraft, providing invaluable protection to troops on the ground. The Air Combat Command A-10C Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team, stationed out of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, brings the aircraft to air shows around the country to showcase the unique combat capabilities of the A-10 "Warthog." They perform precision aerial maneuvers while highlighting the mission and professionalism of the men and women of the United States Air Force. Additionally, the team brings attention to the Air Force's proud history by flying formations with historical aircraft in the Air Force Heritage Flight.
