🚨 Exciting News for Ronkonkoma!

New York State has announced a $150 million investment to connect the Ronkonkoma LIRR station with Long Island MacArthur Airport, a transformational project that will enhance accessibility, improve infrastructure, and strengthen Long Island’s position as a hub for economic growth and innovation.

This marks another milestone in the continued revitalization of Ronkonkoma. For many years, much of the Long Island Expressway and LIRR corridor has been overlooked, but that is changing. Our investment in Station Yards, coupled with the initiatives surrounding the south side of the Ronkonkoma train station and Long Island MacArthur Airport, has created the opportunity for a vibrant hub in the heart of Long Island.

We are excited about the investments pledged by the State and County and look forward to the future of Ronkonkoma!

Construction Progress Update at Station Yards! 🚧

Phase 2B, or the next phase of The Core Apartments, is making steady progress on the west side of Hawkins Avenue. Currently, about 60% of the foundations and slab prep are underway, with the Union Street side being the first section prepared for slabs and wall panels. Slab work has begun followed by wall panel installation in February. Foundation work for the parking garage on the western side of Garrity Avenue is also in progress. Additionally, the first of five elevator shafts, located at the northeast corner, is nearly topped off. As part of off-site improvements, a portion of Railroad Avenue has been temporarily closed for drainage and utility work, with an alternate route provided through the MTA parking lot. Stay tuned for more updates as Phase 2B continues to take shape!
