Our Story
My name is Cameron Higgins.
Photography is more than a hobby to me, more than a passion really. It is the ability to freeze a moment in time forever and the only way to really share a memory with others. Many of my fellow photographers will tell you that photography is an art form, and it certainly is. In a way however it is more than that, it is an opportunity. An opportunity to capture life, preserve memories, and present them decades in the future. The ability to do this has always been in the core of human intelligence. Cave drawings and sculptures were the earliest forms of humans trying to capture their daily life and activities and thankfully we have come a long way form painting on walls.
Photography is an ever advancing field of technology and as many people start to use their camera phones more and more some may fear that the DSLR camera will become obsolete. I am not one of those people. The camera on a phone is and will always be secondary function. the lens inside the phone will always have on focal length, sure you can zoom it and there are many feature to give the photos a more “professional” quality but like many things in our modern world, they are substitutes for real sensations. I feel the classic camera will not be forgot and will stand the test of time thanks to people searching for true quality.
