Roseburg Junior Cheer is the official feeder program for Roseburg High School Cheer and Stunt since 2013. The Roseburg Junior Cheer team is open to grades 3rd through 8th. Registration is underway for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. Parents and interested cheerleaders are invited to attend a registration meeting on April 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Douglas County YMCA. The team will also have a booth with registration information at the April 13 Umpqua Valley Farmers’ Market, as well as the April 27 YMCA Healthy Kids Day. Tryouts will be held on April 29 and May 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Douglas County YMCA.

Roseburg Junior Cheer encourages all skill levels to sign up, no experience required. The team partners with Umpqua Valley Gymnastics and the Roseburg High School Cheer and Stunt team, providing the cheerleaders with all the tools they need to learn tumbling and stunting skills from whatever level they are at currently. The team participates in cheering sideline for Roseburg Youth Football, local events and parades, competitions, and more.
