It comes with a heavy heart and much sadness that we announce the passing of NSCC team member John Sells.

John has been a fixture at the National for the past two decades managing the assembly process of the VIP show bags and packages.

John will be missed by everyone that has had the pleasure to meet and know him.

The NSCC board of directors and JBJ show managers express their condolences to John's family and friends at this time.

🚨National Announcement🚨

In response to dealer and market demand, The National has listened to your concerns and is taking action to provide table space to first time dealers.

We are excited to announce the expansion of dealer tables for the 2025 Chicago National! We are committed to supporting first-time dealers who have submitted Letters of Intent and have been on the waiting list.

This expansion will be limited to 75 tables. Each space will include one 8-foot table and two dealer badges. Tables will be located on the upper level in Hall G.

The NSCC Board of Directors and Promotions Team wish to thank everyone who supported our fundraising efforts at the 44th National Sports Collectors Convention this summer in Cleveland, with special thanks to renowned artists Murray Henderson and James Fiorentino.

We are pleased to announce that the online Charity Auction, hosted by Pristine Auction, brought in a total of $33,750, with an additional $1,116 raised to-date from the ongoing sale of Fiorentino’s artwork.

Proceeds from the auction and artwork sale have been divided equally between the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, The City Mission and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission

Thank you again to all who supported these fundraising efforts!

🚨Breaking News🚨The booth at the 44th National was the place to be during the five (5) day show at the this past week in Cleveland.

Early Thursday morning from , the very popular New Day Cleveland TV morning show stopped by Murray’s booth fascinated and wanting to learn more about the beautiful hand painted artwork being displayed. Thanks for the live shots back to the studio Kenny!

Murray was just happening to be painting live a Jim Brown piece in his booth.

Then James Fiorentino brought over a Cal Ripken Jr. piece both Murray and he worked on together. See photo, just amazing!

Then Andy Friedman stopped by and was amazed by their collaboration. See photo.

Witnessing all this Ray Schulte NSCC Director of Communications asked if all three (3) could and would collaborate on painting a piece all would agree on. Without hesitation all three (3) agreed. See handshake to confirmation!

It’s an All-Star team collaborating. Can’t wait to see the finished product ! Only at The National!

What a wild 20 minutes at The National today. Decided to snag a Nationals Silver Pack, with picking out the pack since she has been on a huge hot streak. John insists on selling it to me for $25, even giving me back extra money I added. Rip pack? Bam..Wemby Cracked Ice /25. Cool card but I don’t dabble in boy cards anymore. Consider putting it on auction and start walking to get better lighting for photo. Decide to stop by and ask Sharon at for advice since she is a hobby GOAT and great person. Guess who wants the card? Yup, it is really cool BUT WHAT IS COOLER IS THE 2017 Rittenhouse Kelsey Plum RC Auto PSA 10 I need for my collection. Be still my beating heart.

I may have consensually hugged a random dude looking through cards at her booth.

So from my buddy giving me a stupid deal on pack, to my friend choosing the one with Wemby, and then another hobby friend offering me a deal too amazing to believe - this is the story really not about two cards but about a whole group of people participating in a great memory. The cardboard is the reason, but it’s not purpose. Thanks for a great reminder that we are all cheering each other on!
