I recently had the incredible opportunity to travel to Florida and immerse myself in a world of creativity, inspiration, and breathtaking floral designs at the Intrigue Experience. 🌺✨ Surrounded by fellow florists, we came together to craft stunning arrangements that brought our visions to life.

The vibrant pinks, lush greens, and dreamy textures we worked with captured the essence of tropical beauty and reminded me why I love what I do. Every petal, every bloom, and every detail told a story—one that I can’t wait to bring back to my clients here in Minnesota.

The experience wasn’t just about flowers; it was about growing, learning, and finding new ways to elevate the designs I create for all of you. 💕

How to Make Flowers Last Longer: Pro Tips from a Florist ✨

Ever wonder how to keep your blooms looking fresh for as long as possible? As a florist, I get this question all the time! Here are my top tips for extending the life of your flowers:

💧 Fresh Cut, Fresh Start:
Trim ½ inch off the stems at an angle before placing them in water. This keeps the water flowing easily through the stems.

🚰 Change the Water Every 2 Days:
Fresh water prevents bacteria buildup, keeping your flowers healthy.

🌡️ Keep Flowers Cool:
Avoid direct sunlight, heat, and cold drafts—flowers love room temperature!

🍏 Keep Fruits Away:
Fruits release ethylene gas that can make flowers wilt faster.

💐 A Little TLC Goes a Long Way:
Remove any leaves that sit below the waterline, as they rot quickly and shorten the lifespan of the whole bouquet.
