One of my favorite parts of hosting workshops is redesigning my studio to perfectly match the theme of the event. For our macaron workshop, we decided to run with a modern Parisian theme, incorporating a bright color palette and gorgeous La Tavola toile linens. I then styled my bookcase with pops of Magenta and Kelly Green decor and plenty of fresh florals. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We did it! Our hot cocoa boxes are SOLD OUT!

Creating and designing a product is so much fun! But, it also gives me a lot of anxiety. After the immediate excitement of the brainstorming and concept development, the self doubt starts to creep in... will anyone like this? Am I wasting my money? Will anyone actually buy it? Putting myself out there is not easy, especially when my products represent my own design sense. It all feels really personal. Thankfully, I have an incredible cheer squad that gives me the confidence to “just go for it.” (Ahem, ). They believe in me more than I believe in myself and for that, I am thankful.

I know I’m getting really deep about some gift boxes, but I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for all of the support and help given to me over the last several days. Clients, family, friends, fellow business owners, colleagues, and strangers have all shown up for me. They have purchased, commented-on, liked, and endlessly shared my little hot chocolate boxes. In a year that has been really tough professionally, financially, and personally, the outpouring of support has been incredibly invigorating and humbling.

To all of my fellow event vendors, thank you for getting the word out and for making purchases as well. I know how much all of you are suffering right now and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for choosing to support me. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

To Dana, thank you for your endless support, time, energy, and beautiful photos. As always, you made my design look even better with your wizardry. You are such a force and our entire event community is elevated by your talent. Weddings by Scott & Dana

Some cute little details in our custom KMK designed Hot Cocoa boxes... the perfect gifts for everyone on your list!

Included in the gift box:
* (2) Large “Merry” Stoneware Mugs (16oz)
* Jar of Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa Mix (8oz)
* Jar of crushed peppermint (4oz)
* Jar of Mini Marshmallows (4oz)
* (2) Snowflake Drink Stirrers
* Mini Wooden Spoon

Each box is $58 plus tax. To place an order, please send me a DM with your name, email, and the quantity requested. I will then send you an invoice. Receipt of an invoice is not a confirmation of your order. Orders with be held only after a full payment is made. We will confirm your order once we receive your payment. Our gift boxes are available in very limited quantities, on a first come, first served basis. Please make your payment as quickly as possible to ensure your order. If you have any questions, please message me.

Pickup only. Boxes available for pickup at my studio in Old Roseville on Wed 12/9 (3:30-630pm) and Thurs 12/10 (1-6pm). If you need your order sooner or are unable to pickup during those times, please let me know and we can make other arrangements.

I knew from the very beginning of putting this Fiesta themed design together that I wanted to use the Isabella napkin rings from Theoni Collection. I had been eyeing those beautiful little “pom-poms” since I had first seen them a few years before. This project came along and it was finally the right time to pitch them! From there, we found the most perfect menu cards from Minted which had a gorgeous floral motif and also matched the color palette perfectly. The place settings were quickly coming together. Next, I sourced the beaded jade chargers from BBJ Linen. Lastly, I incorporated a mix of linens; runners from BBJ Linen and napkins from La Tavola Fine Linen, to finish off the table design.

For Ali & Marcus’ Latin Themed Rehearsal Dinner, I envisioned having a beautifully styled salsa bar. I wanted to showcase the delicious work of Park Winters' catering team, lead by executive chef Gabriel Glasier. So, I sourced wooden bowls, turquoise jugs and wicker baskets from Homegoods. Erin of Scarlett & Grace designed the floral arrangements and Nikki of Lamplight Lettering created the terra cotta signage. I placed everything on the rustic round table from Theoni Collection. It was so much fun styling this little vignette and I was very happy with the final result. And yes, that guac was as good as it looks!

During one of our first design meetings with Ali and Marcus, we learned that they had spent a year living in Oaxaca, Mexico. While there, they fell in love with the culture, the people, Mezcal and each other! As we heard the stories from their time in Oaxaca, it became clear that this time in their lives was very special to them. We decided that incorporating a latin theme into their rehearsal dinner would be a great way to personalize the event and tie their story into the design.

One of my favorite elements of designing an event is creating the guest favors. I love finding something that fits perfectly with the event theme. But, I have 2 rules when it comes to favors— either they need to be edible or they need to be something that the guest will actually use after the event is over. While you can’t eat these custom etched mugs, you can definitely enjoy a taste of what you put in them. I would love getting one of these mugs and would use it all the time. But I love anything personalized. How about you?

The complete invitation suite from our #CaliforniaLove themed wedding. We collaborated with The Idea Emporium to create this amazing, one-of-a-kind suite. Check out the details... laser cut wood, dip-dyed envelopes, custom fonts and graphic design, vintage maps printed on vellum, poppies, a navy and orange color palette... so much goodness!

A little #behindthescenes sneak peak of these super cool lasercut pieces created by The Idea Emporium. They will be incorporated into the invitation suite for our "California Love" themed wedding.
