Asian Cultural Experience in GA

Asian Cultural event with the focus on the culture and heritage of Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The highlight of the two-day festival is the Performance Celebration, featuring the music and dance of the 15 countries, at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 28, in the Exhibition Hall B stage. The festi

vities begin at 11 a.m. that day with a VIP Tea Party at 10 a.m. - ACE Asian Tea Ceremony hosted by key volunteers from metro Atlanta’s Asian-American community. You are invited to meet with legislators, diplomats, CEO, community leaders, celebrities, etc. who will be attended the ceremony. During the two days, there will be fashion shows, exhibits of rare cultural artifacts, and a variety of demonstrations, including calligraphy, woodwork, pottery, fruits and vegetables carving; and origami, the Japanese art of paper-folding. There also will be demonstrations of Thai massage, Thai Boxing, as well as games such as Igo (Japan), Sungka (Philippines) and Mah Jongg (China). Martial arts, including Tae Kwando, Judo and Karate, will also be demonstrated. Self-Defense will be taught all 2 days, Korean Wedding Ceremony will be demonstrated; pictures taking as your souvenir are available by professional photographer.
