They’re the best!

I’m having a great time chatting behind the scenes with after their rebrand of their website and social media. I’ve shot at a number of their venues before and they truly are the best and one of my favorite teams to work with!

Meghan and Nassim’s wedding at definitely is top on my list. I cannot wait to shoot more at some of their venues!

I signed up for another!

Styled Shoots Across America and Intrigue Designs is teaming up for another season of amazing shoots. I participated last February down in Savannah with this amazing shoot. This time, I only have to travel down the road less than an hour for the next shoot in March! I cannot wait!

It’s one of my favorites!

Booking another wedding at St. Peter Chanel takes me back to when I shot Amber and Tyler’s wedding there! It’s such a gorgeous chapel to shoot in!

I also love it, because it’s just down the road from my house, which I don’t hate a short commute to work! 🤣

Resolution or goals?

Do you do either? Why or why not? I know some people who do a word of the year. Do you have one of those?

I often make goals for myself, but I’ve never been a resolution person per se. I do like the January 31 day declutter challenge they have. I’ve done it a few times in the past and will do it again or maybe even a more hardcore version this January!

Somehow it’s the end of the year and we are hopping into 2025 in two days! Ready or not, here we come!

Don’t be afraid!!

My couples often put on their wedding bands For their First Look couple portraits. I did a first look 17 years ago for my own wedding, but we didn’t have on our wedding bands, so none of our portraits have us wearing our rings.

I know some might not want to wear it before the actual ceremony and that’s 100% okay! But if you’re willing to do it, I suggest it every time so that you can get your images with your rings!

I’ve shot nearly 300 weddings in the past 17 years and I have never shot a wedding with a clear tent top like this!

A visit with Papa and Juju definitely deserves a photo session!

My amazing pastor and his sweet family met with me this weekend for a family session. I loved getting to take pictures for them and see them love on their sweet grandson.

And happy birthday, Allen! Hope you had a wonderful day!

Private vows!!!

I love this sweet idea with my couples. They do their first look and then read private, personal, and heartfelt vows to each other.

I did a First Look at my own wedding almost 17 years ago, but I would have loved to have done this with my husband. Our vows at the wedding were the traditional “sickness and in health” and I know it would have been sweet to be able to do something like this.
