It doesn’t have to be this way!

Gone are the days of standing of boring wedding party pictures in straight lines, guys on one side, girls on the other. Don’t get me wrong. I still do those, but it’s so much more than that now.

You have asked these people to join you on the most important day of your life, so it goes without saying that they are the most important people to you. Why not have fun with them while taking pictures?

Mix it up and have fun, get creative, and have some amazing pictures with your favorite people that will last a lifetime.

I cannot believe it!

Yesterday was truly one of the best days! I had such an amazing time with the sweetest and happiest couple ever! Paige and Thomas were nothing but smiling and laughing all day. Seriously.

Summer slowdown???

Is that a thing? Well, I’m making it a thing!

My kids are out for the summer and we stay pretty busy. Between camps, our beach vacation, play dates with friends, our summer road trip, and more, I’m very busy with Mom Life over the summer. (Swipe right to see my Mom Taxi hours yesterday.)

I still work, in fact I’m shooting a wedding this weekend, and did these awesome pictures for Ledgewood; but I definitely hit a summer slowdown while my kids are home. That and it’s just SO HOT in the summer in Georgia!

It’s almost like a mini off-season sometimes with the slower season of shooting. I don’t hate it! I love getting to spend time with my kids and focus on them before the fall season kicks back in full swing, because once September hits, I’m working almost every weekend through November!

I’m back!

Another annual family beach trip finished!! We had such an amazing time together as a sweet family. I love our family time and the fun memories we make each year!

Totally worth it!

I'm around 2.5 hours from this amazing venue, but I am all for going! This brand new venue, The Conservatory at Blackberry Ridge is an amazing and stunning one that feels like the French countryside! If you're looking for a wedding venue, this is one you should check out!

It was amazing!!!

We went to Acadia National Park last week for a quick 24 hour visit while in Boston. We had such an amazing time and got to see some absolutely incredible views of the park.

Have you been to Acadia? I recommend going for sure!!

Don’t forget!!

I also do family pictures! And with your family session, I send a guide on how to dress, mix and match colors and patterns, and what not to wear to your session.

Alyssa did a great job picking out everyone’s outfits, coordinating colors, and mixing patterns for their session!

If you’re ever unsure about a color scheme, I always tend to say go with blue as it isn’t too bright, has a ton of different shades and tones, and usually always looks good on everyone.

I went back!
