Exciting news to come within a month. HUGE changes and additions for SARC this year. Look out and follow us for upcoming news. To start the year off we are hosting more camps!

SARC has been running camps in Western Loudoun for 22 years! All head camp instructors certified in First Aid & CPR and have SafeSport Training. Head camp leaders qualified equine instructors through ARIA and members of USEF, USHJA, IEA, USPC, and VHSA.

Horse camps: $550 9am-3pm (Extended care available $150 additional)

Trail Riding Camp: $675 9am-3pm (Extended care available $150) (only trail ride, no arena riding except if we do fun activities with horses in afternoons)

Horse Show Camp: $850 9am-3pm (includes show fees)(how to prepare for a show, what a show consists off, ending with a show on the Saturday 7/19 after camp)

Advanced camp: $1250 8am-5pm Includes: Swimming with horses, pool time, xc clinic, vaulting clinic, show jumping & dressage lessons. Extra ride time. Horse management lessons with local professionals including vets, farriers, grooms, nutritionist, and horse body work. *Limited spots available
July 7th-11th, Aug 4th-8th

Sibling discount $25 off each sibling
Multi camp discount $25 OFF each camp after campers first camp

Looking forward to warmer days! Thank you every customer for bearing with us during these terrible winter days, even with an indoor it’s not fair to the horses to be doing lessons in this weather, it’s unsafe and dangerous to horses and riders.

We will hopefully see everyone starting Monday and will have a great week of weather ahead of us.

Serene Acres IEA team ended the season with a great show. I’m so proud of all the riders this season. Each one has grown so much and improved and excited for next season.

Congratulations to Annika for qualifying for regionals. She will compete Feb 9th for a chance at Zones.

Very wet, long horse show days at HITS Culpeper but a great week.

Savanah & Amaro taking home Reserve Champion in the high children’s, having some of her best show rides and really showing she is 100% ready for this move up. They brought home a 3rd out of 19 on their first day, 4th on her second day being the only JR in the class (combined her with the Amateurs…and some of those jumps were 100% 1.20m). The more I watch these two together, the more excited I get for them on their journey up the levels.

Alina & KT Origi had some hard rounds but some solid/amazing rounds in their move up to the Amateur 1.0m. Alina is really working hard on figuring her horse out and getting the dinosaur around the ring.

Sarahgrace & Snow Day had huge improvements from last show. So confident in their rounds and you can truly see how much this horse loves her. They took home some good ribbons. I’m excited to see these two keeping slaying the Hunter ring.

Anika & Sparo had their first show together, and Sparo took her around with such confidence. He truly is an amazing horse. He made the .80 & .90 look so easy, maybe we will see them in the TB 1.0 next Spring. They brought home a 6th out of 19 and a 4th out of 7.

Siena & Where’s Walter conquered their second show together. Had a hard first day coming apart around a turn, but brought home a 4th in her classic out of 10 riders. Walter truly is loving his job in the jumpers and giving such amazing rounds to Siena, allowing Siena to grow so much in the jumpers. They are truly becoming such a great pair.

Arabella & Anything but Ordinary had a great show together. Savanah gave Della some amazing rides on Friday to give her tons of confidence for Saturday. Arabella & Della competed in the Children’s Large and in Junior Equtation. They brought home great ribbons in all rounds but her very last round of the day earned her a 1st place. This pony has come so so far, making the 2’6” look like nothing. Huge thank you to Savanah for continuing to give her great warm up rounds.

Thank you as always to the parents for allowing the riders to take up your weekends and helping out at all times.
Thank you Victor for being the best groom/hauler/dog holder/food fetcher and so many other tasks he takes on.

What an awesome last day to our advanced camp! Vaulting & XC Schooling.

Vaulting was a huge hit, they got to learn a new discipline and test their gymnastic skills on horseback.

XC was full of spicy excited ponies and horses. I think the water was everyone’s favorite part.

Can’t wait for Advanced Camp 2025!

Such an amazing weekend! We have some new partnerships with horses at a show, new show team buddies and new heights! Such a great, fun show!

Savanah & Amaro showed at the 1.10 for their move up and made it look easy. They will now be competing in the High Childrens and we are super excited to see the amazing things this season at this new accomplishment.

Savanah also piloted Bombita around the 1.0 & 1.05, having a nice spicy Bomb the second day, but doing a fantastic job on her.

Alina & KT Origi conquered their first 1.0 and a classic of .95-1.05 and did it so effortlessly. They will not be competing in the 1.0 Junior/Adult

Siena & Walter had their first show together at the .70’s. Walter was very eager to be back in the jumper ring to show his new rider how it’s done with lots of speed. Siena handled him so well and was able to have some amazing rounds. Excited to see this new relationship blossom.

Sarahgrace attended her first show as an adult amateur with Frostee and did so amazing! Coming back into this sport as an adult is not easy, the fear sets in, but she handled the feisty Frostbite amazingly and had some beautiful/confident rounds. So happy to have her attending shows with us now.

What a weekend!! Closed out today with two amazing rounds from these two. Double clean for Savvy & Amaro to take second in the 1.05 classic. One rail for Haley & Jolene S taking a 6th in the 1.05 classic.

Great show weekend! Next show Morven Park local.

Another amazing day at Swan Lake!

Savvy & Amaro taking a 2nd & 3rd in two competitive 1.0m Jr classes.

Haley & Jolene S taking a WIN & 4th also in the Jr 1.0 classes

Ava & Bombita doing amazing with a 2nd in the .80 & 2nd in the .90 stakes class. This weekend was Ava’s only 2nd show ever and first show on the bestest bomb!

Alina & KT Origi had 2 amazing rounds in the .90. Unfortunately had a run out to a skinny jump and took a little wrong turn in her jump off, but has made HUGE improvements.

We ended the day with a little chase around Littlestown, PA when bomb and ori took off running, but thanks to all the Swan Lake Horse Shows crew, we were able to catch them.

So so proud of these amazing ladies! Back tomorrow for the 1.05 Classic for Savvy & Haley!

Amazing first day at swan lake!

Ava taking a 3rd in the .80’s. Savvy taking a WIN in the .90’s. Haley taking a 3rd in the .90’s. Savvy taking another WIN with Amaro in the 1.0 (she may have told me 100 times in her lesson the turns were way too tight for her and him, but man did they pay off) and Haley & Jolene taking 6th in the 1.0, pulling a very unlucky rail in her round.

So proud of these ladies and their progress in such a short period!

2024 SARC Camp Dates!!

July 22-26 All Levels
Aug 5-9 Advanced Camp (must have started jumping)
Aug 12-16 All Levels

All Level Camps for ages 4-15

Time:9am-3pm
Cost: $500, $150 deposit due at sign up to save spot

Sibling discount $20 off per child
Attend more than 1 camp receive $10 off

All camps include riding daily, horse management lessons, crafts, helping with daily barn chores, along with tons of fun and making new friends!

Advanced Camp
Time: 8am-5pm
Cost $1150, $250 deposit required at sign up

Advanced camp is ONLY open to those already jumping. Campers will ride twice a day with Olivia Huff and a guest instructor daily, guest instructors including top eventers and hunter/jumper riders. We will do flat work, grid work, course work and cross country (for those that want, or they may opt to stay back and work on their show jumping).
This camp will be ran following the pony club rules. They will have tack and horse inspections daily. Horse management lessons taught by guest speakers and Olivia Huff.

For any pony club member wanting to rate up that attends the camp, can do so on the Friday.
