The Round Top Schützen Verein is a social club located in central Texas. We maintain the historic Round Top Rifle Hall and sponsor community events.

Founded in 1873 by German immigrants, the Round Top Schützen Verein is a historic social club located in central Texas. The Round Top Rifle Association is a 501 (c) (4) non-profit corporation that maintains the historic Round Top Rifle Hall which opened in 1912. Community events are a hallmark of the Schützen Verein and include celebrations such as the annual Round Top Fourth of July parade, Blasmusik, Schützenfest, OktoBierFest, and New Years Eve.

Monday, December 2nd is the last Hamburger Social of 2024. Usual schedule, menu and great fellowship!

Join us Monday, December 9th, for the Annual RTRA Christmas Party. We'll ring in the Christmas season with 2 delicious homemade soups and great German music from our local performers.

Our annual New year's Eve Dance will be Tuesday, Dec 31 with music by the Lost Cause Band. Free cornbread and black eye peas at midnight. Community snack table will keep you happy until then. Doors open at 6:00 and the dance starts at 8:00. Tickets are $20 and on sale now.
