February is often known for being Sweethearts Month, and Valentine's Day is celebrated. This is also a great time of the year for self-love and self-care, fostering relationships with family, friends, and loving others. A great way to do just that will be on Saturday, the 18th of February, with "Bluegrass At The Kirby", in beautiful Uptown Roxboro, NC and it would be a great way to spend some time with the one you Love with music from Rebel Records Recording Artist "Starlett and Big John" as they will entertain attendees with crowd pleasing music and will also featuring some of the songs from their forthcoming album "Living In The South" to be released in later in the month, they will have some advance copies available that night at the Kirby for purchase. Starlett Boswell Austin and Big John Talley both come from musically inclined families and happened to meet each other 3 years ago at a bluegrass show and since then they have already made a sizeable impact in the Bluegrass Community with the release of the duo's first album "Till The End Of The Road" and have had several songs on the charts. "Bluegrass At The Kirby" will also feature, The Roxboro Connection Band, a local group of musicians that have played with lots of different bands throughout many years of their lives for the love of the music. Ricky Stroud band founder, along David Nance, Cliff Waddell, Ronald Smith, and Bailey Moore rounding out the band, and TRC band is in the works to record an album in the near future. It will be a wonderful night for you, your sweetie, your spouse, and or your significant other loved one, or just yourself enjoying all kinds of Love songs. Some about the good, the bad, done wrong, happy and broken-hearted love songs, with traditional tunes. If you by chance have more than one loved one in your life with a big family, no worries the Kirby has plenty of seating for all. So, make it your plans to be at The Kirby Theater and Cultural Arts Complex located 213 N. Main Street, again on Saturday, February 18th, Tickets only available at the door opening at 6:30.
