Table top roleplaying games allow all participants to contribute to crafting an epic tale of adventure, intrigue, and excitement. So, in light of the current situation I am curious if there is any interest in setting up a virtual gaming sessions for kids.

Seeing as how parents are looking at a period of at least one month with kids at home and having to find some kind of structure and entertainment, and there is a community of experienced game-masters who are finding themselves out of work for an indefinite period from various service industries, there may be a solution that benefits both communities.

I feel that I am in an unique position to connect these communities, and will do so without any fee (unless I happen to actually be running a session), in an effort to soften the emotional and financial hardships that seem certain to emerge in the coming weeks.

After getting a take on interest for such a service, I will update with further details as appropriate.

"My cousin and I both want our kids — when we have them — to get good enough to play in a metagame for one skill, any skill, in whatever game strikes their fancy. It could be Ultimate or Judo or tennis or chess. It could be Fortnite and Dota, if those things still exist when they’re old enough.

The important thing is exposure to the meta. My cousin and I both think this exposure is fundamental. We think this because metagames really do exist everywhere in life; you just have to know how to look."
