This Saturday June 8th the doors open at 5:00 pm and the magic starts with strolling magicians, then there’s a 3 set close-up performance at each table then all magicians do table to table magic. After the food is mostly finished each magician will do a solo stand up piece, then a group finale.

Opening night Friday is one week from today! Tickets currently available! Saturday the 6th is sold out, other date still available.

Friday Night Live returns to 49 Franklin for its 13th show directed by Cindy Grassette and featuring retired, local, longtime businessman, Tom Puiia from Puiia's Hardware. Tom follows in the footsteps of several siblings who have been involved with FNL. The show takes place these Fridays and Saturdays in April, 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th at 49 Franklin in the Mystic Theater in Rumford. The live, local, and all original sketch comedy show started in 2011 and has had sold out consistently through the years, advance ticket purchases are highly recommended.

Tom's youngest sister Susie was an instrumental part of getting the local sketch comedy show off the ground with her acting and writing skills. She has since moved out of state but is still greatly involved with writing including several contributions this year. Sister Mary was in the show last year, but can't make it this year, she has written several skits including two this year. Brother Carlo was the first person to host FNL when he was acting town manager in Rumford in 2011. Tom is excited to be the host and is looking forward to delivering his own monologue that he has written, as well as play in a few sketches. Musical guest this year will be local musician Jesse Heath who will be performing solo as a departure from his band Aunt Hannah. Jesse has a nice voice and has good chops on the guitar which makes him a great pick for FNL.

The show also features Chuck Bellegarde, Becky Howard, Zac Calden, Tylene Scott, Zach Grassette, Sarah Gervais, as well as venue owners Cindy Grassette, and Scot Grassette. Scot, who is a regular writer of the show, says he gets inspiration from all over, including from his dental hygienist who gave him a page of ideas. Scot took them a wrote a skit from some of the unique things she has seen working at the Rumford office. There is also a Welding School skit, and Group Therapy among others. There is a short film called Naked and Afraid in Rumford, and skit featuring a Rap Battle between the State of Maine's Giant Statues.

Tickets are available downtown Rumford at All That Jazz and online at www.49franklin.com Doors open at 6:00 pm for social, seating, and a full pub menu as well as a cash bar. The show takes place at 8:00 pm on these Fridays and Saturdays in April, 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th at 49 Franklin in the Mystic Theater in Rumford. 49 Franklin is a cash only venue, enter at the right side of the building and go to the upper level for the show.
