Two years ago, I would’ve never pictured my life the way it is now. Nothing in life is guaranteed. Two years ago, it was standing tall, It seemed as though we had it all.

November 14, 2021 is a day forever etched into our minds. My wife and I watched as our lifelong dream went up into flames and burnt to the ground. The lodge had only been open just two short years. So much blood, sweat and tears and been poured into making our dream become a reality.

There are moments that completely change the trajectory of our lives. Whether good or bad, what happens in two years can change the rest of the years thereafter. Life’s unexpected setbacks, can lead to unexpected joy.

The following years would bring heartache, pain, joy and setback after setback. Finally, two years later, our new dream was built out of the ashes. Welcome to the new Royal Creek Ranches.

“Let beauty come out of ashes
Let beauty come out of ashes
And when I pray to God all I ask is
Can beauty come out of ashes?”

My response is simple: Yes, beauty can come out of ashes!

Elk Ridge Lodge is a beautiful 9,000 sq. ft. event center located just 45 minutes from Salt Lake City. Pheasant Haven Lodge is the most spectacular property and lodge in Utah for having a retreat, family reunion, or youth event. The amazing 12,400 square foot lodge is perfect for hosting a large family or group retreat and the ranch is beautiful and private, so it offers groups privacy and seclusion to play and enjoy time together in complete security and peace.

The 17-bedroom lodge is perfect for Utah group retreats and family reunions. The main floor has a large great room that can be used to gather over 50 people. The main floor also has a large commercial kitchen, game room and movie theater.

Guests at Pheasant Lodge will never run out of things to do. The lodge has two hot tubs, basketball court, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and a beautiful 30 person fire pit. Those groups that want to do even more outdoor recreation can explore the ranch.. Guests also can mountain bike, hike, fish and s***t shoot on the ranch.

Our Pheasant Haven lodge is equipped with 2 kitchens, 17 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms. Our board room and game room provide enough space for business and play. We have guides on site for ATV rides, fishing, hiking and biking. This is not the traditional meeting space!
