The Fall Photo Gathering was a blast! We didn’t get too many pictures of our own, but here’s what we ended up with. Thank you to everyone who came and helped us raise some money for the Perry County Park District while enjoying the beautiful weather! A huge round of thanks to our local business friends that spent the day with us as well - you’re all incredible and our community is lucky to have you! He’s an “expert level” item on the Harvest Hunt Scavenger Trail - a mix of adventure with some photo settings and a whole lot of natural beauty! It’s included with your admission, so take as many trips as you’d like!

The stage is set and we're excited for our Fall Photo Gathering next weekend on 10.26.24 from 3pm-7pm. This video gives you a great overview, including the recent news that Feathered Frenzy Farm will be showing off some birds and offering the chance to win $100 off tree work from Feathered Frenzy Property Management.

We will also be joined by Pretty Petals Flower Farm and Joyful Lens Photography, rounding out our list of local businesses who will be helping pass out candy while having fun!

Don't forget that 1/2 of your admission will be donated to the Perry County Park District if you wear a costume - AND - the first 20 kids get in for FREE (sponsored by Abbey Border - Century 21 Frank Frye Real Estate). We’re on the hunt! Do you have dolls you’d like to part with? Is someone you know infested with the things? We can help!

As we did our first round of setup for our Fall Photo Gathering, we got an idea! But we need dolls - all shapes and sizes. If you can help, please let us know asap! Otherwise, enjoy these pictures of our progress. We hope to see you next weekend!

Who’s up for some Spooky Yoga? Just when you thought our Fall Photo Gathering couldn’t get more fun, CherYoga comes along and kicks it up yet ANOTHER notch!

Join us for yoga in the Quarry at 5pm during the event on 10.26.24. Bring a mat if you have one, but if you don’t, you can still take part! The goal here is to see as many of you in costume as possible - or it won’t be quite as spooky as we’re hoping! This is another great photo op for a truly unique visual: ghouls, ghosts, vampires, whatever - all practicing some self care and appreciation for wellness. And don’t forget, that if you wear that costume and make the yoga super spooky, half of your admission will go to the Perry County Park District.

But there’s an even better part? The Spooky Yoga session will be included with your admission! Cheryl Dupler will be your host and she’s asking you to just bring a canned food donation (if you’re able) that will be given to the Somerset Food Pantry. She’s definitely on that growing list of wonderful, generous people in our community!

When you add this to Abbey Border - Century 21 Frank Frye Real Estate sponsoring the first 20 kids to get in free and Bojanowski Excavation, LLC bringing out a haunted bulldozer, it’s hard to imagine us being able to make the day any more fun!

So in our typical fashion, all we can say now is: Challenge accepted…

How do we follow-up our big announcement that the first 20 kids will get in to our Fall Photo Gathering on 10.26.24? With another big announcement, of course!

Bojanowski Excavation, LLC will be joining us in a BIG way! They’ll be passing out goodie bags as part of the Trail or Treat experience, but one lucky person will also walk away with a $250 voucher good for labor towards the project of their choosing! Oh, and they’ll also be bringing a bulldozer to create a “pop-up” photo setting - decorated for Halloween!

Another great, local business operated by a wonderful family - and they aren’t just friends - they’re who we trust with our own heavy equipment work. Not only can you expect fair pricing and quality work, but Josh is one of the few contractors that makes you feel like a priority every step of the way (even if you know you’re actually a small job for him, he’ll never treat you like anything less than his most important client). If you have a project in mind, we HIGHLY recommend getting a free estimate from him.

Beauty is all around us, and it’s easy to spot with a camera. But sometimes you know someone that offers to sponsor 20 kids and they own a business - but you have to convince them to not make it an anonymous gift. Let that sink in. There are wonderful, kind, generous people throughout our community. Abbey isn’t the only one, but she’s certainly the one we’re talking about today! So thank you Abbey - our corner of the world is so much brighter because of people like you!

Koi can be so overbearing. First, they were excited that waterfall was on, then it was all about having their picture taken, then the wedding today was a huge deal to them (as it should be!). But when they noticed the colorful leaves and realized that our Fall Photo Gathering is exactly 2 weeks away (10.26.24), they jumped right back into the pond and began swimming. Fortunately, we even got a picture!

So many great moments from yesterday… the joy of children exploring our unusual-ness after the wedding, the 50+ students and parents that decided rain wouldn’t keep them from using the property for their homecoming photos, and the weather radar right after the ceremony that verified what we all knew- the sky cleared right as the bride walked down the aisle. Our family is so very fortunate to introduce people to this special place and to see the different kinds of magic they discover for themselves. A perfect weekend at a Place Like Nowhere Else!

It's time for Homecoming 2024 and FREE use of the Havenstone for students from Fairfield and Perry County... Just send us a message to reserve your spot. Unfortunately, timeslots for Sheridan High School will only be available at 5pm or later - we have a wedding booked earlier in the day. So share like crazy and reserve your spot today. We can't wait for our first ever 2nd Annual Event (or something like that)...

Our lead tour guide offers a quick “behind the scenes” from our busy weekend: post setup, pre decoration. And the weather is BEAUTIFUL!!!

Not long ago, we posted a video of a tree stump following us home from our work in the woods. We knew it wanted to be something, but we weren’t exactly sure what… Then we found an AMAZING sink and faucet. We knew right away that they would get along with the stump and decided to introduce them. So if your guess wasn’t “outdoor sink with hot and cold running water”, please try again next time. If it WAS you guess, please message us immediately: You’re our people.

We had a stray tree stump follow home from our work in the woods yesterday: Any guesses on our plans for it? And if you don’t feel like guessing, you can just see it this Saturday (5/4/24) during our free Prom Photo Pass from 3-6pm. Just message us to signup!

Are you going to Prom? Would you like a cool place to take your pictures? Would you like it to be free? Good news! We are officially open for prom pics tomorrow (4/27/24) and next Saturday (5/4/24) for students of Lancaster, Fairfield Union, New Lexington, and Sheridan (and anyone else with a prom either of these days). If you want to take part, send us a message and we will get you locked in. We will accept groups every 20 minutes from 3pm until 6pm each day, but you MUST register with us first. So don’t wait - register now! And if you’re going to prom, don’t take the bike in our video. The tire is still flat…
