Taking the Leap is a full-service wedding planner and florist. Prior to starting Taking the Leap, Keli Schoonover was a wedding planner and florist for 30 years. Keli started in high school when her family bought a florist shop. That is when planning and flowers became Keli’s passion. It is that time of the year when brides and grooms start sending out Save The Dates and Invitations to the date they have dreamed about their whole lives👰‍♀️🤵🏻 This invitation was carefully picked out according to the couples tastes, colors and budgets. 📜They spent hours on wording, colors, accents, design, paper etc.
If you got an invitation, you are very fortunate! This couple picked you to join them to celebrate with them on their special day.
Accompanied with this invitation is a RSVP card, usually with a self addressed envelope.📮📭📩
An RSVP card is how the couple calculates how much food to order, how many tables and chairs to order, how many decorations they need, how many linens to order for tables. How many favors to order. All these things cost money. Alot of money. 💸💸
So please answer the RSVP by the date given.📅 If you cannot make it kindly check NO☑️, the couple understands! If you are coming please check YES✅️! Do not check YES if you think you might come, or you want to decide closer to date. All the things mentioned above have to be paid for and ordered by date you are given to reply. Thank you!!🎉🎉👰‍♀️🤵🏻

As most everyone knows, the owners of Taking The Leap also bought a venue in Rushville called The Schuyler Penney Event Venue! We had our year mark in July and we where to busy to celebrate! I guess that is a good thing!
We still are planning, decorating and doing all floral for other venues as well!! At our venue we doing weddings, showers, anniversaries, you name it! We can hold almost any type of event.
I haven't shared any pictures of my brides lately so I will post a few pics until I get caught up!! Thank your for all you support is this crazy business!!
