Marcus Saulsbury you will be truly missed our friend. Mandy and family you are in our thoughts and prayers.
The Ruston Expo/ North Louisiana Exhibition Center will truly miss you. Marcus helped make my life easier as the director of the Ruston Expo. Pleasing barrel racers is not a easy task and because I used to be one I can say that. We have about 4-5 big barrel races a year at Ruston, when I would talk to a promoter about a barrel racing event, I had 4 tractor drivers that I highly recommend that they hire and use and our dear friend Marcus was one of them. He loved to come in the concession and pick with us and give us a hard time, but mainly to cut in line so he could get what he needed to get back to his seat on the tractor. He loved to pick with some of us but he took it seriously about his job on that tractor to keep the dirt the best he could for the safety of all the horses and riders. For that I will always be eternally grateful. Please join me in praying for Marcus’s family and friends, Especially Mandy and there kids, close friends, he was loved by many. Marcus will be missed by me and the staff at Ruston. Rip our friend.

Reminders:
Promoters Insurance certificate must be in office prior to events are gates will not be opened.

NO scooters, hoverboards, bicycles, tricycles, in the bleachers. Only Handicap devices.

NO football, baseball or any kind of balls underneath building.
Light fixtures can get damaged.

No Dogs in bleachers. Unless a service dog. We have been lax with this but have been getting many complaints. Dogs can be on a leash in stall area.

No Alcohol.

No trailer parking in Handicap spaces. Unless has a tag, these spaces are to be use mainly for car/ truck spectator handicap. Tickets could and have been given.

No Tie outs under building overnight.

10x10 space for pasture pen please and No pens around RV’s.

No outside food or drink vendors.
Unless Facility Commission approves. Health certificate or food safety service certificate must be in office if approved. This is also a different charge than vendors spaces.

Other vendors space are $50.

Rules are made by Commission/ LPPJ not by employees or Director.
