WOW! We had an absolutely stunning turnout of 116 aspiring actors of all ages at last night's Cinderella audition! Please remember that you ALL need to come back Thursday at 6:30!
It's not too late for YOU to join. There is one more audition Thursday, Jan 9th. If you were not there on Tuesday, please arrive by 6:15 if possible to fill out your audition form.
We especially need a few more older teen / young adult MEN!
We will see you in the lobby of the Foundation Performing Arts Center at ICC at 6:15 (if you are new) or 6:30!

Thanks to all who attended the meeting last night for showing their support for our theatre! We truly appreciate all of you.
Now, here is a very brief recap of all the announcements. If you would like more details, message us with your email and we will send you the MUCH longer version which was sent to our main email list earlier today.
As we honor the legacy left by Matthew and Diane McEnnerney, who founded this organization in 1971, we acknowledge that in some ways, it feels like the end of an era. But we are also excited as we look to the future with renewed energy!
Laura Link has been named as our new Executive Director. She has been directing our musicals for the last several years and is very honored to serve in this capacity.
We will be moving our things out of the Maple Street building in the next few months and into another location thanks to Rutherford County Schools. Details will be announced in the very near future, and we will need LOTS of volunteers to make it happen!
In addition to the production of Cinderella which was announced earlier today, we are planning another cabaret-style musical r***e later this spring (directed by Tyler Graeper), a Shakespeare Sampler in late summer, and next December we will present A Christmas Carol!
Finally, we are thrilled to announce that going forward, we will be changing our name to Rutherford Stage!
Thank you all for supporting us during the last 54 years. We hope that you will continue to participate in, promote, and attend our shows. Although many things are changing, our values and goals stay the same as we move forward. Our hope is that our programming will feel continuous, even though what we are called and where we will be will change.
And thank you to the attendees last night, who voted on our new logo! It was a very close count, but one choice did win out! We hope everyone will like it!

Auditions for one of Diane McEnnerney’s most beautiful and beloved musicals, Cinderella, will be held next Tuesday, January 7and Thursday, January 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the lobby at the Foundation Performing Arts Center on the campus of Isothermal Community College! There are many, many parts for ALL ages!
You should plan to attend BOTH auditions. No one will be added after Thursday, January 9.
Please park in the main parking lot and enter through the main Box Office doors.
Plan to arrive early on Tuesday to have time to fill out your audition sheet before we begin.
Rehearsals will be held at the Foundation on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 until 8:30 pm. The performances will be on Friday, March 14 at 7 pm and Saturday, March 15 at 3 pm. The final week before the play, rehearsals will held every night. Make sure your schedule is clear for these days before committing to being in this play. You will need to attend ALL rehearsals as this is a particularly SHORT rehearsal period.
Everyone will be given a role, no previous experience is needed, and no special preparation is required to audition. Just show up! We will have you read from the script (Lines will be given to any too young to be readers) and sing a little (We will teach you the song). It is easy!

The cast of Wind In The Willows is excited to treat you to a wonderful performance this weekend!
Performances on Friday, November 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 16 at 3 p.m. at R-S Central Hight School. The musical play by Diane McEnnerney is based on the classic novel by Kenneth Grahame which has enchanted generations of readers all over the world.
The production will feature over 60 local actors of all ages, and is directed by Laura Link.
