Check out our latest feature on Vermont Weddings! Like most parents, we try not to choose favorites, but this wedding ranks up there as one of the events that gave us the most joy. The couple is amazing, the vendors were some of the best, and the weekend was an absolute blast. If we could COPY + PASTE + REPEAT, we would. โค

We love helping our clients by adding a hot drink station to their wedding, post-dinner. It might be hot chocolate in the winter, hot apple cider in the fall, or coffee year-round, but it's always a hit with guests once the sun goes down and the cooler temps hit.

Our favorite item to add to the table?? Some Werther's original soft caramels - everyone loves to add them to their hot drink to melt or to snack on them straight from the wrapper!

What do you like to add to your hot cocoa or cider??

It's !

We've said it before and we'll say it again - small handheld desserts go like wildfire! Don't get us wrong - a full cake is beautiful and many guests will enjoy it, but if you want your guests to keep coming back to your dessert table for seconds and thirds, consider smaller dessert options like cookies, macarons, brownies, mini tarts, mini cupcakes, cannoli, donut holes, cakesicles, cake pops, and candy. Make your favorite sweet mini and guests will easily snag them on their way to and from the dance floor!

We're back with another for your wedding planning: container(s) for leftover dessert.

Ask your dessert vendor ahead of time if they will leave some boxes for the leftover dessert, whether it be cake, cookies, cupcakes, or other sweets. This will make clean up at the end of the night much simpler and you won't be running around trying to find plastic wrap or figure out how to transport a random assortment of cupcakes.

PS...For individual dessert items, you can also ask them to make up a small 'to-go' box for you and your new spouse to enjoy after the wedding, so you can enjoy your wedding day confections at a later date!

Photo booths are always a win - and they are especially memorable when conveniently located near the line for the bar so that guests can hit up both in short order.

As we celebrate all things haunted and spooky this Halloween, we are looking back at this gorgeous dark and moody wedding from the 2024 wedding season. Danielle and Spencer's vision was a witchy enchanted forest with ethereal, fantasy, and nature-inspired touches. Navy blues, dark greens, deep teals, bold reds, with soft pops of sage and pink rounded out the perfect color pallet for this vibrant and romantic wedding.

Yesterday, we got to celebrate the end of our 2024 wedding season with a fabulous couple. The day was chilly, but hot apple cider, patio heaters, and a rocking dance floor kept everyone warm all night. Plus, the venue's resident cows made a couple of appearances to greet guests. Huge congratulations to Emily and Jeremy on their beautiful nuptials!!

We also want to thank our 2024 couples for allowing us to be part of their weddings, and thanks to the fantastic vendors we had the opportunity to work with this year. It was a fun and wonderful year!!

Today's is also National Dessert Day, which is feels fitting to share our fun from the weekend.

Our couple was married in a library, and really leaned into the literary fun!! Each reception table highlighting a favorite classic and was topped with a gorgeous book themed cake. Intricately decorated, and beautifully flavored, we were treated to chocolate, salted caramel, pumpkin, and vanilla cakes! No detail was spared with the cakes. There was a checkered Alice In Wonderland cake covered in "Eat Me" macaroons; gold doubloons on a sandy beach from Treasure Island; and David Copperfield's top hat, among the creative sugary fun. The photo features the pumpkin flavored Chronicles of Narnia cake, complete with footprints in the snowy landscape!

It was such a fun night, that even the library's marble resident enjoyed some of the fun (see the second photo for proof)!

This weekend we had a wonderful time at The Essex Resort & Spa for Chandler and Lynsey's wedding. An electric crowd filling the dancefloor, a gorgeous new venue space, and an epic flyover by some hot air balloons all made for a pretty spectacular event. Congratulations Chandler and Lynsey!
